  1. Lol! That's awesome
  2. I just like finding them in caches.
  3. Dang. Looks like a bear got into that.
  4. Huh. I see on there that "coming soon" to log all geocaches.
  5. That reminds me. I need to pull one of my caches, and give it some TLC. It's been out for a year and I've never checked on it even though no one has reported any problems.
  6. So basically someone sees a tracking code on the TB on a Facebook post or something, and they log it as discovered? That seems a little outside of the rules for logging a TB. TB's are to be found in caches, am I right?
  7. Its would be many, many months if not almost a year to get something like that approved (if at all) to be paid for by State parks (and one would probably be told 'no' a lot). Generally speaking, because that's how slow local government operates. At least in Washington State.
  8. I didn't even know someone could find a trackable online. Oh, I see what's happening now. Nevermind.
  9. There are plenty of cachers who've been around for a long time that leave "TFTC" in their Found it! log.
  10. I think for the most part for the consistency. And to cut down on some maintenance issues I've been having with a couple caches. My micro's keep growing legs.
  11. There's a Rocket Fizz in my area, too. I've been meaning to go in there...
  12. I am working on converting all of my cache hides to the same type of container. Except one the area doesn't allow for this type of container. I am also working on trying to reach 1,000 Finds by the end of the year, and would like to purchase a 1,000 Finds coin once I'm there.
  13. I take that back. I picked up a rubber ducky once. I still have it.
  14. One reputation point for the LoL's.
  15. I'm not much into collecting swag myself. The last piece of swag I took out of a cache was last year and it was a small rubber ducky. One day I hope to convert it into a cache to keep it in the game.
  16. Yeah, it's a pretty cool hobby, and well worth the premium membership fees.
  17. Sure. That's what we are doing.
  18. Writing stick maybe?
  19. Coordinates are off, and multiple cache containers near and around GZ. Someone should be logging NM logs if this is happening. And if enough NM logs are posted, eventually, if no CO action, then caches are archived.
  20. If you cache falls apart while you're on holiday just write a note saying you're on vacation, and you'll tend to your cache once you're home. If you're gone for longer then a month, just update your cache log with another note saying you're on vacation so people know what's going on. Pretty easy. No need to pay someone for anything in this game.
  21. Let's hear it for the volunteer staff that make it all happen for us.
