Gary, is that legal??? Quick, quick, make a rule against it! Or for it! Hungarians are good inventors, if he can do it, we will surely come up with something, too! I already have some ideas! Wings! Or remote control that will drive my car from one cache to the next! So that will take care of visiting the most caches and travelling the most miles. But, it will also drive to every event on its way to get all the "discovered" logs. No one can steal it, because it will simply drive away at the end of the event or from anyone's backpack. It will be solar powered which will work well as the race is taking place mostly in the sunny period of the year. The flat roof is perfect for installing the solar panel. I will just need to move the #22 sticker from the top to the back or front of the car so the solar panel does not cover it. "The First Environmentally Friendly Hummer" award should be given to this car, too! Great ideas but we have to keep everything on an even plain. Car #19 is heading for the Hummer hospital for a quick overhaul and check-up. The cars will remain under lock and key until they ship out. I found one car with the floor boards cut out! Fred Flintstone was in the back seat sleeping and when I woke him up he said the racer's owner wanted him to yaba-daba-doo the car along cache to cache.

This is the new remodeled TB Train Station (the one on the right)the Hummers will be leaving from! The rest of this week will be spent organizing the Hummers and Hot Wheels for their journey. The small Cache was the original Train Station built in 2007. Once I have a chance to review my address book I will send out e-mails for the addresses I don't have. This will take a few days. The racers are starting to show up!

The drawing is over and the drivers of the "Blue Hummer Geocoins" have been chosen! I did not continue to draw names for a cheering section because,??????? oh crap, I forgot what I was going to type. Oh, now I remember. The last race I sponsored with the train Geocoins went well for some but others had their trains run clean off the tracks never to be found! It's a funny thing when we place Geocoins in a cache they always seem to come up missing, while travel bugs seem to travel a lot faster and last longer. So I decided to try something a little different! I had a long talk with my assistant train conductor " Daffy Duck" and asked him to go around the US and see if he could find a few more Blue Hummer Geocoins. Daffy never listens to me and seldom pays attention. He went out and found (40 ) Blue Hummer "Hot Wheels". When I asked him why he did that he explained to me the "Hot Wheels" will travel more miles than the Blue Hummer Geocoins.I had to agree after the trouble we went through with the Travel Express Geocoins. I then asked him "what should I do with the (25) Blue Hummer Geocoins" He told me to read my last post, the part about giving the drivers a prize, and give the coins to them to keep. What a great idea! I can give them the coins and place the tracking number on them on the Hot Wheels! The next thing we decided to do is give everyone else a Hot Wheels car and a special tracking number so they can also drive in the race. Daffy also told me to be sure and send a prize to these drivers also. So with all this long winded e-mail it's time to post the winners. The first (25) names are in the order the were drawn, the remaining are in the order they were on my tracking sheet. I think these new ideas will make it easier to manage and maintain. If anyone has a question about the guidelines feel free to contact me. 1. Twenty five names will be drawn from a hat and these twenty five names will be called the drivers in the race. The first name drawn will drive Hummer #1, second name drawn will drive #2 and so forth. 2. Once all twenty five names have been drawn I will continue to pull names until all the names have been pulled. These names will be assigned to a car in the order they were drawn. Example #26 will be assigned the #1 car, #27 will be assigned to the #2 car. We will call these people the cheering section. This gives everyone a chance to win prizes. 3. I will activate the (25) Geocoins and set up the mission and rules for the race. The drivers name will show up in the title. I will also list names of the cheering section. (I hope we have enough names to give everyone at least one person to cheer for them) 4. Once I have everything in order and ready to place on the “Travel Express Train” for delivery I will post that the Hummers have left the train station. I will also post a list of all the drivers and cheering section. 5. The drivers will receive a package with instructions. We will not start the race until all packages have been received. Drivers, please e-mail me when you receive your package. 6. The driver will be starting someone else’s Hummer. Example; a driver from Germany may be starting a Hummer from Canada. The driver has three days to place the racer in a cache in their area once the start date has been established. 7. The race will have (3) categories that Hummer can win! • Most miles traveled ( visiting / dipping a Hummer in a cache will not count in the miles total) • Most caches the Hummers were placed in and left to be retrieved by a different Geocacher. ( visiting / dipping a Hummer in a cache will not count in the cache total) • Most Geocachers that moved the Hummer or discovered it. Discovering the racer will count in the total. 8. Each category will have a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prize. Prizes will be something Geocaching related. Prizes will also be given to the cheering section if your car wins one of the three categories. I may decide to award a prize to all the drivers. 9. The race will run until the end of November 2015. That will give me time to send prizes out before Christmas. 10. I will try and update the progress once a month depending on how much time I have. 11. Additional guidelines may follow as I think of them; to be continued-------------------------------------------

Nice job. I would post ours but I haven't figured out how yet. I am also on the trade list. Ours has Blue glitter also but only portions of the coin are colored. I tried to match some of my other GaryM53 editions I did with Van Stofflene

I hope everyone understood my question. At the end of the race total miles was 326,659 I looked up every coin last night and total the miles that had been added since the end of the race. That was an additional 3 years of travel Keep the numbers coming
