  1. You can use the emulator in the Wherigo Builder to play the locationless cartridges too. You can also try out some of the other cartridges if they allow the use of the emulator. The emulator has a map and little character you move around to simulate a GPSr. The emulator will put you at the cartridges starting location when you play it and you drag your character around the map as you play. -Mallock
  2. I am working on my first cartridge but it's not quite ready to be published yet. What I am going to do is leave the cartridge open so people can play it and experience Wherigo's if they don't have a device that supports it yet. However, for people playing on the emulator, where I would normally open a location for the cache location, I am going to display text that says the cache can only be found by playing it on a real device. I am also not going to unlock the cartridge if they play it on the emulator. I figure this way more people can be exposed to Wherigo by playing it, but it keeps people from finding the cache the easy way. -Mallock
  3. If you want to insure that they start the Wherigo at night, you could always do what a lot of normal night caches do and put up reflectors somewhere. Then have your cartridge take them to a specific starting location where the reflectors are visible. Prompt them for the number of reflectors that they see. Or maybe put a micro cache at a reflector that contains a code that they need to enter. If they are correct, continue the cartridge. You could also put in your time check but this would be an extra check for people who might try to get around the time check. -Mallock
  4. We just got a Garmin Colorado 300 and loaded some caches. I can't seem to find a way to modify coordinates for a cache. I can change them for a waypoint but there is no setting to change cache location. This makes doing puzzle caches a little more difficult. Anybody out there have any hints? Thanks, Mallock
