  1. To my knowledge you don't get FPs for finding AdventureLabs. However, I suddenly have a lot more unassigned FPs to spend. The number of those additional FPs as well as the total number of FPs suggest that my LabCache finds have been taken into account. Does anyone know something about that? I'm not complaining... ;-)
  2. As an afterthought, there might be an Adventure Lab that combines different sights...
  3. Hm, I no longer live in Berlin, but I've cached there a lot. I don't know of a single cache that would show you lots of different sights. My recommendation would be to have a look at caches with lots of favourite points. Not that they are necessarily that fantastic, but they also get lots of points because lots of tourists find them. They will take you to lots of different sights (Potsdamer Platz, Alexanderplatz, Brandenburger Tor, Reichstag, Checkpoint Charlie, Museumsinsel...). You can also have a look at my hand-picked and subjective recommendations (mostly central and tourist friendly): https://coord.info/BMA9MFV
  4. Ich denke, "Cache-Inhalte" bedeutet der Inhalt der Dose; solange da keine abgetrennten Finger drin sind, sollte es passen ;-) Auf Englisch vielleicht klarer: "Cache contents must be suitable for all ages and suitable for the outdoors. Do not place any of the following items in caches: ..."
  5. Wow, that's fantastic! :-) Hope I'll see mine again, too, some day. Yes, my experience, too. I'm very careful now about selecting safe caches for TBs...
  6. Danke für die Info, famerlor_dragon, die Release Notes habe ich mir vorher noch nie angeschaut. Inzwischen stimmt auch die Zuordnung zu den Kantonen, soweit ich das bei meinen Funden sehe. Finde ich gut!
  7. Best check the TB page before going to the cache. If the TB has been in the cache for a while with several people passing by, it's probably no longer there.
  9. All the new Virtuals I’ve found so far were in well-known tourist spots which I already knew, or would have visited anyway. But some of them still showed me a detail that I wouldn’t usually have noticed! So I’m definitely going to look for more.
  10. Project-GC has a “community support”, might be good to also ask there
  11. So far, I’ve visited a TB to a cache I didn’t find once, but for a specific reason: when I take a picture with the TB, I always attach it to a visited (or other) log of the cache I was looking for at the time, so that the trackable owner knows (roughly) were the picture was taken. If I then happen to DNF the cache, I still want the picture to be associated with that cache, so I still log a visit. But apart from that, I agree with nextlogicalstep.
  12. When I open the cache in the official app, I have to scroll down the waypoints until I see Start, click on that, and then scroll down some more to see what I need to do (How many arcs...?). I can understand why you wouldn't notice the description. The way the app works here isn't ideal.
  13. It might also be a cache listed on some alternative geocaching platform. At least over here, there's more than just one.
  14. You could also add waypoints for each of the signs so that people don't walk past them without noticing.
  15. I don't know where it says that the TB was removed from the cache before it got archived. We're talking about TB6NGVN, right? Unless the CO removed the cache, the TB should still be there. Maybe ask the CO first what they know about it. I agree that project-gc would also be a good option.
  16. Hi! The number starting with TB can be made public, as it just takes you to the listing page of the trackable. The other number (tracking number) is used as a proof that you've seen the physical TB, and shouldn't be made public. Use it to log the TB as retrieved (if you've taken it from the cache and intend to drop it in another cache), or as discovered (if you left it where you saw it). Hope that helps
  17. I don't like the hearts. It's just boring to use the same symbol that's being used all over social media and dating apps etc. The ribbon was less mainstream.
  18. Oh, I just noticed that the 22nd has passed and I havn't received anything yet, either... Strange, will have to look into it... Edit: thanks for the link to the help page, will have a closer look later :-)
  19. Would it be an option to hide your cache as a multi or puzzle cache? That way, even if a power trail is installed in that area, it should be less likely that your cache is spammed with copy&paste logs and many power trail aficionados might just ignore it.
  20. Gar nicht (soweit ich weiß). Manche geben die Fundzeit in ihren Logs (online oder im Logbuch) an, aber sonst gibt es keinen Weg, das herauszufinden.
  21. There is a "TB rescue" function on project-gc.com, you might want to give it a try. A cacher in the area might notice and take a look. However, since the cache container seems to have gone missing, I'd say it's unlikely that someone will find your TB...
