De prijs voor PM verhogen is een beetje 'vervelend'. Oke, het is niet veel, maar dan toch. Waarom zouden alleen PMers voor het gebruik van maps moeten betalen en de gewone members niet? Ze zouden veel beter gewone members de OSM of andere gratis kaarten kunnen tonen. Ze zouden daarnaast extra memberships kunnen toevoegen. Dus je hebt basic-member en premium-member, maak dan ook een (bv) bronze-member die dan wel de maps van google krijgt en een paar flutteloze PM-features erbij. Etc. En daar hangt een kleiner prijskaartje aan dan een PM-prijsje.

En met de laatste update van GC.com kan dat dus simpel door op het coordinaat vd listing te klikken en dan het gevonden coordinaat daar in te vullen. Perfect opgelost zou ik zeggen.

Kan inderdaad wel en heb hiervan ook al wel eens een melding voorbij zien komen. Ik heb al eens een mail gehad uit het buitenland dat iemand een TB wilde activeren, maar al door mij was gedaan. Mijn nummer klopte gewoon. De betreffende cacher had deze TBs bij een shop gekocht en het bleek een 'oud' exemplaar oid te zijn. Ja, het kan dus voorkomen.

This email looks like a hoax. Why this way? It would better be done via the weekly newsletter. We deleted the email. And we'll do it again next time. There ought to be a much better way to get feedback.

I am creating PQs mainly for holidays. Since I still have a 60CS I can not do any paperless caching. But going through all the caches in the surroundig of the camping place takes a lot of time . PQs have solved that, almost that is. Indeed, the last thing I really do need is the images at the end of the listing. As one knows, these helps in some cases find the stash. And, above all, they are part of the listing as created by the owner. So actually, they should be part of the GPX file. Now, I have created a small script that goes throught the GPX and makes one big HTML file with all listings from the GPX file that I am interested in. And now, I still have to go through the lot to find those spoiler pictures. Too bad. I was hoping it would be complete. For me too, the adding of the urls at the end of the LongDescription would solved the last main missing thing. Please people of GS, add them for all of us! Thank you in advance! -Marco

We are in The Netherlands - definitely oversees - international. Last weekend our 4th cache came online. I had notifications as usual. Then caching began and 5 founds were registered. But I only received 3 OwnerLogs. I learned from a fellowcacher that they have the same problems already some time. It is annoing, since I would like to know by mail (not by reading the listing) if something is wrong with my caches. So I hope it can be solved ... soon perhaps. Of course it is a mega system, with thousends of mail per day. So, then you may expect that so now and then something goes wrong, but this seems to be too often, unfortunately. Let keep the hope and await good news from the vollunteers!! Thanks guys! -Marco
