  1. Hanna got her unofficial one from Kernow today... Unfortunately, due to the attitude of an 8 year old who thinks she's 28 and can treat mamma like dog doo-doo, she is currently unable to open it at this time... We'll see how the rest of the night goes. Naomi
  2. Beautiful coin and beautiful sentiment, another great job!! Naomi
  3. I got goodies, too I got a package from Groundspeak with a couple of great gifts for our upcoming event, and then I got a package from CacheNCarryMA with a neat MMMMm Beer CarleenP and Stunod bottle opener coin in it and some FTF stickers, too! Thanks!! Naomi
  4. I think that in this case it is very deserving!! Congrats, WSR!! Naomi
  5. Whoever pulled the strings for you must think highly of you, those aren't easy coins to get! Congrats, Hasse!
  6. I love them, especially the blue! I can't wait to see them in person
  7. WAY too cute! I'm so glad you finally got it done! Naomi
  8. Whap! Please sir, could I have some more... Isn't there a rule in this thread that you can only have one heart's desire? I got mine, hence I don't post in here anymore. Quote the whole thing, please. That heart's desire wasn't one for me, it was a request posted for a friend. *rubbing lump on head* Naomi
  9. Ohh, I wish we could do sub/postscript here, then I'd do it integer style, T3! T to the third power! T3
  10. Absolutely NO willpower in this house.... NONE! Naomi
  11. WHAP! Mind your manners. *rubbing head* OUCH! That hurt, dangit! Point made! I do try not to beg, though, hehe! It's really an ugly trait! Naomi
  12. I don't have a problem with the heart's desire thread, either, especially if it's just mentioning a coin that you'd love to have once and leaving it at that. It's the repeated begging, often with a hardship story attached, that is irritating. It's a turn off on the person, too. I will admit that I have, in the past, sent a pm/email asking if there was some way to arrange a trade because I didn't have the funds to purchase a particular coin, but it was few and far between. I don't make it any secret that we're pretty much dirt poor, but I also try hard to not beg for a coin, even when I'm dying for it, lol! If I ever do beg, someone come by and knock me upside the head and tell me to remember my manners! FOR THE RECORD.... Because my money IS low I have very, very few trading coins. The coins that I do for Jim I have him sell all of my share except for one complete set for me, and the ones that I did for Oakcoins I either put on Ebay or I used for missions. My personal ones of the cat I received only 12 of, I sold the rest of them. So... I really don't have many traders at all! Naomi
  13. beautiful, but i have to ask because my eyes are playing tricks on me, what is the central figure? lara it looks to me like its an image of the mandrake plant. am i correct motercycleboi? i really like the look of this coin, can you tell us a bit more about it please? It is the new Bewitched coin. It has a spinning center. Yes it can be a hanging ornament. Yes it is the mythical Mandrake plant (Alrunan in Sweden) More info soon to come. Tror att svenskarna väntar för lite till information, också sen jag har ummm.... hehehe... bilder fanns där, också nu
  14. You and Nenne have again done a beautiful job and something to be proud of! Naomi
  15. Steph, that is precious! What is it, I've never seen it before! Me wants! Naomi It's a coin in memory of Cowboy if I read the back right Gee whiz, now, Steph, I don't know whether to offer up a hug or laugh and say it's just the cutest thing or call you a tease.... I guess I'll just go with all three!! *big hug* That is just the cutest little thang, you tease, you! Naomi
  16. Steph, that is precious! What is it, I've never seen it before! Me wants! Naomi
  17. The person will get a delivery slip in their box and go to the counter to pick up the package, no worries!
  18. I received mine finally yesterday and I just can't believe how nicely they came out! I know I'm kind of tooting my own horn here, but they really did surprise me, how pretty they are! That being said, I have something else that I want to say! Thank you, Mike Atwell, from the bottom of my heart, for helping me make this dream a reality and for all the assistance, patience and kindness that you have shown me this past year that it's taken to make this coin come true. There are no words to say that could convey my gratitude, so instead, I'm going to say this: For those of you considering doing a personal coin, I highly can recommend Mike Atwell as someone to do it with. He's professional, communicates well, and trustworthy. He's got a great program for coin minting which is very generous, and this process of working with him has been truly a pleasure! I really can't recommend him highly enough! Naomi
  19. There's always the Swedish translation of Tinkerbell, which I think is so cute... Tingeling! Naomi
  20. OMG! You should have seen my mother-in-law's reaction to her vampire piggie! She giggled the rest of the evening like a little kid, she loved it! Nana, these are just wonderful, you are so talented!! Thank you!! Naomi
  21. OOOH! The sweet princess here gets my vote for best costume! Mainly because I've got a sweet little 2 1/2 year old princess of my own (currently downstairs in my bed with her stuffed kitty, taking a nap) who refused to remove her earmuffs that I bought her for a whole day because they were so 'cool' and I understand how adamant they can be about not wanting to take something they love off Great pics everyone, loved the bad, indian princess and pop devil, too, but that little princess just gets my vote! Naomi My vote I submitted earlier
  22. What a wonderful, heartwarming story! Congrats on your new little bundle of fur!!
