  1. The files and bookmark for Draft 2 of the Quad Cities CM 2 are available HERE TerribleTs@gmail.com
  2. I have the bookmark list created and the new files available for Draft 1 of the Quad Cities Cache Machine 2 here. Terrible Ts
  3. Stop #18 GC2MVTG Riding the Rails vs. 2 has been disabled and the CO says they will not be able to fix it before the CM. I am going to remove it from the bookmark and the list file. Terrible Ts
  4. Since you asked nicely, I have added the Event Dinner as stop 81. Terrible Ts
  5. I haven't found a way either. I can save off a csv or a pdf file that has a limited amount of information in it, that people could use to follow along, either printing it out, or using a viewer app on their phones. It would not be linked back to the Geocaching app so they would not be able to log the caches as they go. If anybody has any ideas, please post them. Terrible Ts
  6. I have the BookMark list up and numbered and the link and data file for the GSAK macro is available here -> https://goo.gl/5v1JSM I am looking forward to this one since it is so close to home. Terrible Ts
  7. It doesn't take me that long to get the bookmarks updated. Adding the numbers in front of the caches in the bookmark list takes the longest. I should be able to have everything ready to go Monday evening (if the list doesn't get published too late). Terrible Ts
  8. I have the bookmark set up and numbered. Take a look at This Terrible Ts

  10. Oh no! So many of us rely on your wonderful bookmark lists (and GSAK macro) for the cache machines. I was just looking for it to start planning, and discovered your note. You will be sorely missed and I hope someone takes up the mantle. The macros will remain in the website for a while. If anyone picks it up I would be glad to share my setup macros I use on my machine to get the ball rolling. Hey Jim, I would be willing to take it on. send what you can to TerribleTs at gmail.com Terrible Ts I have the bookmark list of the first draft up at geocaching.com . I am trying something new. This is a preview link. If you click on it will show you where the link is going to take you. The data file for the numbering is here (my person dropbox folder. Unil I get a way to host the file I wil use this. Shouldn't be too long. Terrible Ts

  12. Yep... I've been trying to update every Friday.. I've received a few direct messages about adding events that I won't get via the PQs, but otherwise it's been pretty quiet.. -TWT I use it every week to plan out our weekend adventures. If an interesting event is happening, we often head to that area and cache before/after the event. We have found some pretty good beer and food going to these events. Sometimes I wish Alaska was closer so we could drive to it. One cacher I work with, stops by to ask about upcoming events. I keep trying to get him to use the calendar, but so far, he has found it easier to ask me about them. Keep up the good work. Terrible Ts
  13. I am ambidextrous when geocaching. It is my writing hand, so my sigs and a little more messy than usual, so I have been using my stamp more and more. I had a blast. Thanks for coming along.
  14. I had a great time and I want to thank everyone that showed up. I went to the doctor today. I sprained my thumb when I tripped over that root. I am going to be in a splint for a little while. They X-rayed it and the doc said nothing looks broken. Thanks again Terrible Ts
  15. I just modified jholly's macro to use userdata1 field instead of usersort. That way I can add in all the extra caches that I want (23.2, 23.5, 45.7) and it will sort correctly. I also pad the front with 0s so you don't get the old 1,11,12,13,2,3,4 ... sorting issue. (001,002,003,004,011,012,013) Then when I send the cache to my GPSr I can put the numbers in front of the cache name and on my 60csx it sorts caches alphabetically, which makes it real easy to find the next cache to go for. It works for me. Terrible Ts
  16. I am planning on heading down to Oregon and getting the GC17 cache on July 18th to complete my double Jasmer Challenge. I know of a couple of people that said they were interested in going along, and I figured the more the merrier. We won't be moving very fast (I would use the term Pokey Plodders if it hadn't already been used, but you get the idea). GC12 is also along our route. GC12 was hidden on May 12, 2000 and GC17 was hidden on July 21, 2000. This is a great time to pick up those months if you are working on the Jasmer Challenge. We are planning on meeting at the trail head on July 18 at 9:00 am. The trail starts at GC15V8K 1217's Front Door. It is approximately a 2.5 mile hike one way. I have done GC12 already, but we didn't have time to get GC17. We will be starting off on the Douglas Trail and then turning onto the McIntyre Ridge Trail to GC17. There doesn't appear to be a a lot of elevation change, but I haven't been out there. I understand there is a great view from GZ and I was planning on taking a light lunch/snack along and eating there, before heading back. I am planning heading down to Oregon on Friday afternoon and staying the night in Clackamas. I looks like it will be about an hour drive from where I am staying out to the trail head. The last time I was there the Search and Rescue guys were out training. We ran across them on the trail and we saw that they had signed the GC12 log. So if you are interested in going along be at the trail head about 9:00 am on July 18th. Terrible Ts
  17. Thanks. That fixes the issue. Terrible Ts
  18. I just heard back from him and he has: OS X ver 10.5.8 Safari 5.0.6 (5533.22.3) Those are pretty old; I think they will need to upgrade in order to use the picture functionality as we've implemented it: http://www.dropzonejs.com/#compatibility I will pass that info along to him. I am not that familiar with MACs, but his version sounded pretty old to me too. Thanks. Terrible Ts

  20. I have been messaging with a friend on MAC suing sarfari and he cannot attach Photos. When he click on the Attach Photo link it takes him to the geocaching.com home page. It does not pop us a file selector box. When he tries to drag and drop an image it just puts in the full local path to his image. i.e.: /Users/{His User Name}/Pictures/Geocaching/Siver Creek Park Glacial Erratic.jpg Is anyone else on a MAC seeing this problem? Thanks Terrible Ts
  21. #58 GC1V940 has been archived 3/4/15 Terrible Ts
  22. We are staying at the Comfort Inn in Post Falls for free (points). It was reasonably priced and not too far from the start. Of course we will probably start around the route at #70 and go from there. JimT Terrible Ts
  23. I just saw that 2 of the caches on the route were archived today. Mom's Gonna Be Mad If You Mess Up Your Clothes! GC1P4AJ # 27 Lounging at the Library GC1EGZK # 11 Terrible Ts
  24. The problem is you can still see the entry box before it is removed, so you assume that it should be visible. When there was a limit on Pocket Queries, it told you how many you had used, so you could tell when you we getting close to the limit. You are telling me that if you had 4 email addresses and wanted to add two more, it would allow one to be added then not display the entry box any more, without some sort of an explanation? That would make me assume it was broken, not that I had hit a limit. Only 401 people used more than 5 email addresses. How much extra mail was being created that the developers thought they had to impose a limit of 5. I had 6, so the system was ok with 6 until I deleted one. I changed cell provider and I deleted my old email address to send sms messages to my phone. I was trying to add my new service and it wouldn't let me. That appears to be a bug to me since I had 6 at one point. Letting people know they hit the limit seems like a reasonable thing to have. Thanks Terrible Ts
  25. Why? and why doesn't that tell you that. I spent a lot of time trying to narrow down what was happening so I could give a good bug report. If it had mention there were only 5 alowed I wouldn't of wasted my time.
