  1. I really can't say enough about how much I enjoyed this hike. I've been dying to make it out to a cache event for almost a year now, and it just never seems to work out. Even though this wasn't an official event, it was the first time that I ever got to meet new cachers, hike and cache with them, but most of all chat about geocaching! ~ Super kudos to Waterboy for putting this whole thing together. Thank you again for putting so much time and thought into organizing what turned out to be a superb and successful hike. It was such a pleasure meeting you and your wife. Your conversations entertained me both on and off the trail. And it's always great to meet other people who also enjoy the outdoors. ~And then there was Retphoto. Another great personality for this hike. YOU CRACK ME UP!! I loved your sense of humor, and enjoyed chatting with you about the forums and all the geo-gossip.[] Thank you all for allowing me and my friends to share in this experience with you. Here's hoping that we all can do it again sometime soon!!
  2. However, as we all see when hiking the trail - people are constantly meeting new people or groups and joining together for a day's hike or to share a campsite at night. Being as we're only going for a weekend trip, there's nothing preventing us from organizing as 2 or 3 smaller groups and "conveniently meeting" at the trailhead and spending a weekend hiking and camping together. I have also seen large youth groups, scouts, etc. hiking and camping together. ~ and I've never in all my years seen the Trail Police. Really - we have NO bad intent here, so it really shouldn't be a big deal.
  3. I'm also sending an email to WWW. I've very interested in this event - it looks like a lot of fun.
  4. This one is located at Sugarloaf/USA ski resort in Maine: http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?ID=94572
  5. Very Cool! Stellar job.
  6. Here are 2 finds that I enjoyed: (5 Bears was a great hike. Norwal is fairly easy, but SO pretty! I won't give away the surprise attraction.) 5 Bears http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid={D54C1E3C-F50D-4147-AAB0-2D1259111A47} NORWAL PINES http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid={4EC18059-6D18-4097-B8F2-2245FD9602BD} ...and these are 2 from my TO-DO list that sound great: Pocono Cold Air Cave http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=dd28d64b-d5ba-4ca1-b909-6bbbe22fc54b Wolf Rocks http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=e01d471c-7823-46b0-a7a3-e0da7d364549 Have a great trip!

Thanks Guys!! I still have a l-o-n-g way to go before I'm playing in the Big Leagues with the likes of both of you!
  8. Another big milestone, for another local cacher! Oh... to be in the Super-Cacher hall of fame! (along with StayFloopy, Fro, etc.)
  9. Awesome accomplishment! Those are some big shoes to fill!!
  10. Hey Geo-Packrat- A cache at the top of that trail would be stellar! That was what I was hoping as I approached the trail head, but the GPS denied the climb. I would DEFINITELY make the trip back to that area to seek a cache at the top! Peace, Love, & Happiness- Snowflower quote:Originally posted by geo-Packrat:I wish to second her COngrats....and wish to thank her for selecting one of my caches for her 100th find. That she got a FTF was a plus for her.... Congrats Snowflower.... BTW there's a cache pending for the top of that trail you were at. it's not placed yet either, but it also hasn't been prematurely approved. Give me a Tall ship, and a Star to steer her bye...
