  1. The last couple of days have seen a VERY slow upload with the "Send to GPS" window. When attempting to load caches onto any of my GPSr's, it's taking an average of 20 minutes for the "Find Devices" to work. I've tried re-installing the plugin to no avail. Is anyone else having this problem, or does anyone have an idea as to how I can correct the problem?
  2. I'm having a similar problem with other Garmin units this morning, so I'm not sure it's your Geko's fault. When attempting to upload caches, I'm getting the message: "There was a problem communicating with the data card. Ensure that the removable drive is plugged in and that a card is correctly inserted." I've written a note to Groundspeak, but have yet to hear from them. Anyone else having this problem?
  3. This is my first visit to the Forums, so it may be a little early to call myself a "Lurker". I've been caching for about 5 months now, and have found almost 500 caches, so I imagine "active" is the appropriate description for me. Although I'm not sure that this is the correct forum, I have a question concerning the GPS I'm using (Garmin 60CSx). When downloading geocaches, the machine has suddenly taken a liking to putting them in "Waypoints", rather than "Geocaches", so now I have some in both. It's a little annoying having to flip back and forth between icons. I've tried restoring the factory defaults..nothing...and the folks at the Garmin website obviously have better things to do than answer questions concerning their products. The manual doesn't mention the problem (and precious little about caching in general). Any ideas?
  4. I don't have an answer for you, but instead have nearly the same problem. I was happily downloading sites to my GPS...no problems...when, about 1/2 hour ago, I suddenly got an error message when I tried it. It said: "Error on page", and that was that. It won't even let me download previous downloads. I went to Garmin and got their software again, restarted the 'puter, took a walk, had a cup of coffee....nothing. Is there something wrong with the Garmin site...maybe? Anyone......anyone..... mrmomtwins
