  1. The event is now online. Go to zip code 80012 to log.
  2. Name it and post this as an event. We'll be there. Put this on C.A.C.H.E. as well. We can bring stuff. Just shop at Sam's club if there are a lot of people. We will chip in, we love these events. I say name it "End of Summer Retreat" after getting the coords and post it asap. It is only 26 days away.
  3. Yep, I plan on being there! I was just hoping to have a get-together before then because their event is at the end of September. Right now, we're not even in the planning stages. We don't even know where it is going to be! But if enough people show some interest, we will start working on things! Tahosa, is that your land? Perhaps we could have the event there and not have to worry about rental fees for a park pavilion. Brenna, if you need help, Rachael and I can help.
  4. I have to agree. I am from PA and stationed in CO. The terrain is totally different.
  5. How do you do that? Once in your GPS call up a menu from the map page. You should have the option to turn on or off a specific map, or map set. Different Garmins do this a little differently. I have the Vista. I will have to check it out. Thanks. The vista is pretty much the same as all the other higher end Garmins. Once in the map setup menu go to the Map Information icon it's the one with the letter 'i' within a bubble. Once there hit Menu again and you will get the option to turn off or on whole map sets. I have the topo mapset on, but no topo. Pretty weird.
  6. Team GPSaxophone, carleenp and mom, Bons, the Plugges, Zoltig, Imajika, Tahosa and Sons, Team Mindawg, and many more from The First Annual Billzjeep CITO Event and Sax Man's Campout. For those of you who know us, don't take offense that you weren't listed. That's why I named the events as well. We met so many wonderful people. I have met Pawinger, SBUX and Howie57 via email. I would love to meet them in person.
  7. I have one set up on NFL.com if you are interested. It costs $15. I have some friends in it.

  9. We visited once to see where we would be camping. It is pretty cool. Panorama Point is neat, you see all the mountain peaks. It is a fun and crazy drive up the mountains.
  10. We are actually going camping this weekend at Golden Gate Canyon State Park, weather permitting. I found 4 caches to do up there. We will get up your way soon I am hoping.
  11. I can't wait to come back there. I am from DuBois, so I know exactly where you are talking about.
  12. Here's mine: This design helped to re-establish Danner’s relevance among the hiking boot elite. 13. Finally!!! It took awhile, but we did it. After approximately after a year and a half, and 4.5 months of Baghdad, we reached 100. We did it on a locationless nonetheless. Now we'll see how long it takes to hit 200...lol.
  14. Yes you can come. I am really liking this locationless caching too. You see some really cool things that you never knew were there.

  16. I 2nd that. Not starting anything political, but I saw Kerry today at his rally here in Denver, awesome. I can't tell you how to vote, but I urge you to vote this year, this is a big year to vote. I'd hate to see another 4 years of hell, but then again, that's my opinion. There is nothing I hate more than people complaining about our government if they didn't vote.
  17. Yep, found it though. Thanks. Why has it been archived and people are still logging it?
  18. This is hopefully a short thread. I know there is a yellow Jeep locationless and now I can't find it, now that I actually had time to get a pic of a yellow Jeep. Can someone please provide me the link so I may log it in?
  19. Hey! You're supposed to support me bringing the event to Colorado! No offense Sax. I just think PA would be sweet. Lots of nice campgrounds, dense cover (makes the hunts harder...lol), and good ol' PA potholes...lol. I seem to recall that the AT thru PA is known as the place "where boots go to die." Also, it's a high tax state. Do they tax caches yet? If you are comparing PA to DE, then yes taxes are high. DE has 0%, but CO has 7.2%. I was thinking central PA.

  21. Pennsylvania. That gives me a reason to go home.
  22. I 2nd that. I wish they had them back east. I might open up one when I move back to DE.
  23. Apparently this cacher took my Beach Patrol Xterra TB on March 9, 2004 and has never placed it. I have emailed him a few times and never heard anything back. If you know htunk, please have him place my TB. Holding a TB for over 4 months is ridiculous. They aren't souveniers. Thanks for your help.
