Has anyone on here recieved TFTC coins that were on Ebay. I bought a couple and haven't gotten them while others left feedback shortly after.
I emailed the seller and they "forgot" to put in the description that they didn't have them in hand at the time. They admitted that it may have been misleading so I let it fly.
I don't want to accuse the seller but I'd like to have my coins that said ships in 2-9 days in the description. Nobody has left negative feedback on this issue so it makes me wonder what's up.
On the same note, has anyone recieved Illinois coins? How long did it take to get USA coins?
I had the same questions as you, though I did receive an email reply from the seller. The part that I thought was REALLY weird was how some people have left positive feedback regarding actually receiving the coins (see some of the sellers recent feedback). I asked about this in my email, but the seller said they didn't know what I was talking about. I also didn't realize it was a presale.

But since you actually got the implication of the coin's meaning without those, I'd say it's not necessary. Besides, the flavors were GeoNaps idea. I just elected to replace the "text" with actual images. This is a joint-effort coin, remember.
What is the point of the fruit choices? As in why those fruits?
I'll leave the first part for GeoNap to respond to.
Those fruits match the "colors".

Never happen. It's clearly a parody and no copyrighted trademarks are being used anywhere on the coin. Absolut is trademarked. Absolute is not
And that face in the label is GeoNap not Lenin/Stalin or whoever the dude who is really used on the Absolut label....

Truth of the matter is... it's a bottle... no more... no less... No one has a trademark on a bottle. It's a geocoin too... it's not exactly as if we're saying that we're making vodka. You can draw whatever inferrences you want, but bottom line is that it's not a copyright infringement plain and simple. Case closed.

Kilted I truly hope everything is going ok for you. It sounds as if perhaps something is working out (based on your previous post). If not, I would like to request that you give me the option of "buying" my GeoNap coin back from you in the form of a donation or whatever. By no means am I "demanding" this... I am simply making the request that you give me the first chance to buy the coin back (if you do sell it).
It is my hope you won't need to sell any of your collection. I too would be willing to help if I can. Keep us up to date.

For those of you who drone on about coins never being put in caches and always disappering, it so happens I found Three coins yesterday while out caching. I wasn't even targeting them. I had no idea they were in the caches I found them in until I poped open the ammo can.
One was even an icon State coin. And they've been out for a while. Two had 1300 miles and one had 3400. And each had dozens of logs. There out there if you just sign off the forums and go caching.
That's awesome! Ahhh... just in time for Christmas too... my faith is restored in my fellow coin loving cachers.
Or perhaps they just didn't find the cache in time?

Ok I've gone over board with my coin collecting . I want to sell off all of my extra personal geocins on ebay
. I want to take all of your good coin designs and make a profit for myself and buy more coins and get myself into even more debt I will then buy more extra coins from everyone at cost and sell more later on ebay . Is that bad 
? Please sell me more of your coins. I need them so bad. Geocoins are great!I not really selling anything.... I will give my coins away before I sell them.

Cache 'disapprovers' & The Non-local Approving Trend...

Hello all! I haven't posted in a while, but felt motivated enough to do so after reading the post on the cache page I will list in a minute. Basically I just wanted to climb up on my soapbox for a minute and complain (or at least voice my opinion) on the way geocaching (in general) has been headed. Specifically I am referring to some of the geocaching.com attitude.
I have recently seen a trend of geocaching volunteers become cache 'disapprovers' as opposed to 'approvers.' While geocaching is obviously growing by leaps and bounds I think the geocaching.com site is losing touch with some of its earliest and most adamant supporters. I wanted to 'speak out' before I was completely 'commercialized' out of geocaching.
Anyhow... this is a response I made to an older post regarding a non-local cache 'disapprover'... but I think it makes a good point:

Besides, it's a NW cache... an awesome one... I am tired of seeing caches disabled because 'new' cachers can't drive by it and reach out the window to pick it up (here's a hint, if it's a 4 or 5 star you may have to go back and look more than once)!
Even more so though I am tired of non-local cache 'disapprovers.' I think cache approvers should be local and at least have a clue of the general area... either THAT or at least do NOT let non-local 'disapprovers' kill good caches.
Anyway... climbing down off my soapbox! Good to see you all again!
