  1. Well, if you are going to plaster my surprise on the net what do you expect!
  2. The church at Clophill has always had a bad reputation, even the old gravestones were moved after a body was dug up and laid out on an altar! Maybe this was the lady who is hanging around the belfry? Also the church has a reputation for Devil worshipping, the police even used to go there on Halloween to calm things down, I don't know if they still do? Andybug is pretty sceptical about this apparition, but I like to think that when we are off this mortal coil, you can still have some fun scaring geocachers !
  3. : At least I know what part of my present was now ! Look forward to getting it, cheers Oliies
  4. We got into it when Andy bought a Gpsv to help us get around, read the bumpf that came with it, found the web site and the rest as they say is history, since then we have recruited a few others into it(George&Mildred, The Ollies) who have in turn got others into it(ChoccyM&M's, Pieces of Eight, Murray Mint, Squirrel, Fish&Baby Bear), the caching family tree seems to be ever growing!
  5. I make ladies hats for a living and Andy runs a Plumbers merchants-nothing techie about us I'm afraid, we got into caching because we spend alot of our spare time walking and camping and stuff. I can just about manage my little geko, Andys Gps is beyond me!
  6. Well done-it's always nice when you hit a milestone. Here's to many more! It won't be long before you've laid 100 caches will it?!!!!!
  7. Ours came out with 1 ruling baby daddy Dan, is there something he's not telling us? 2 Rabidly dung-bad Andy, every morning! 3 Burningly bad day dad, appropriate for Hornet&Lost in Space! 4 A banal biddy dung dry, ugh!
  8. This particular trap actually did have teeth . Also it was very old and rusty and placed in a tree stump on a public footpath therefore I feel quite justified in removing it and replacing it with a nice safe tuppaware box. I am sure if the rightful owner of this monstrosity really wanted it he wouldn't have left it there to rot. In future at least we will know if a trap is a legal one or not.
  9. This may seem a bit like teaching your granny to suck eggs, but please be careful when poking in holes for caches. We set a new one today and Andybug stuck his hand in a good hidey hole and pulled out an old trap of some description .Luckily it was so old it had rusted open so no harm done there, but can you imagine if it had gone off! Needless to say we took it away with us. In future we will poke a stick down a hole before our hands go in! Are these things still legal as we were under the impression that they had been outlawed?
  10. We use a GpsV in the car and a gecko 201 on the hunt(until the batteries run out which is quite often as they don't last very long!) This system works fine for us!
  11. Well done, you should make it 1000 by next month!
  12. Aw shucks, thanks alot everyone, we feel very special now! Look forward to finding many more of everyones caches, thanks again, Andybug&Ladybirdxxx
