Just wanted to post something I found out while checking into our hotel. We where talking to the later at the desk and she asked us what was going on with all the people coming in. We explained about geocaching and that there was a event going on tomorrow. She say there was an event called tip a cop going on tomorrow and all the proceeds of the tips go to special olympics. And the place it was going to be held is spooky's pizza so make sure o give your servers and extra go tip at the event dinner.

the gators 9 (oregongatorboy, oregongaotrgirl, and gatorgiggles) have been looking forward to this one for some time now. So of course we'll be there.

The gators will be traveling from hillsboro, or for this one. we will bring waterdog42 and his wife with us. I can't wait.

Just got back to the hotel from the pre event dinner. There where so many cachers there. Met a really nice couple who are local. Can't wait until morning to start the cache machine. Thanks to Travis for doing these. I can't wait until the Portland cache machine. See everyone there.

is there a place to down load all the caches are do I have to enter them manually.

I have been downloading caches into my gps long before i became a premium member. Garmins and Delormes can download straight from the cache page. My Magellan i have to use something along the lines of mapsend to download them. But i only get gc on my particular garmin but the wifes magellan gets name of cache

You're barking up the wrong tree. Talk to Magellan. After you try dealing with them you will figure out that they suck and you will want to buy a Garmin. I loved my Magellans until I dealt with them and realized they stink and don't care about handheld units. (I'm not a pro Garmin guy, I have just heard nothing but good things about them.) I ACTUALLY HAVE A GARMIN GPS ALSO. NOT LONG AFTER I BOUGHT IT I WENT BACK TO A MAGELLAN BECUASE OF THE RECEPTION. THE CHEAP MAGELLAN OUT DOES MANY HIGH PRICED GARMINS. SO I GUESS I WILL STICK TO USING MAPSEND AND LOADING THEM THAT WAY.

When will ground speak format so that I can download directly to my magellan like I do to my garmin.

I simply copy and paste right into pda program on my computer. I do have to do some editing to make it easier to read. Still beats carrying all those papers around.
