It's been a while since I've done any Geocaching, and I don't have my Magellan Meridian any longer. But I'm cleaning out the desk and have the data cable for it. I don't want to throw it out, but if I still have it by tomorrow, then it's trash. The wife says so! First I'll take it gets it. UPDATE: It's taken.

DevilDogs: I used to be a Deputy Sheriff in a rural area and I'm 99% sure that they thought the owner/occupants of the vehicle they happened on was harvesting/planting marijuana plants. That's why they blocked you in and were out in the fields looking for you, and they approached you with guns drawn when you were waiting for them to move their cars. Just thought I'd let you know that if they didn't tell you already. Of course I could be wrong. Dan

I (Dan) was in the Marine Corps from 95-99. Stationed at MCAS Beaufort, SC I was an Avionics Tech also. I got out as a Sgt. I now do the same thing but as a civilan contractor working with Sailors.

I just purchased a Magellan GPS and recived it today. I have yet to search for any caches but will start this weekend. So far from what little experiance I have with it, I like it better than my friends' eTrex. I got my from outpost.com $109.00 w/overnight for 9.72. Recieved it in about 15 hours.
