i get the error message as wel. had to happen on POETS* day too.. hope it's back on air soon, got all afternoon free to do some caching. (* P*ss Off Early, Tomorrow's Saturday)

if that's about right, then so be it... i'm not really into the whole collecting thing, and blowing £800 on coins that will be put into caches really isn't justifiable at the moment. Oh well, seemed like a good idea at the time ps. you've just mentioned one of the minters.

and what if the FTF'er who finds your cache IS a newbie? (General) You're never going to please everyone. All FTF'ers were newbies once. Does it really matter? Having your coin/TB taken is the whole idea of putting them out in the first place, isn't it? The difference between an FTF'er and everybody else, is: They got there first! Nothing else, so why are people making a big fuss over, what IMHO is, nothing! You are, of course absolutely right, maybe i should have clarified a bit better. My aim will be to make the thrill last that litle bit longer. The buzz of a FTF, and later, another buzz of getting something exciting in a cache. Given a certain ammount of time and energy to spare, what would a cachers preference be.. a good location, and a well stocked cache with maybe one or two coins etc in it. Or an old cache visited dozens of times in recent weeks that you just know will have little of interest inside. How many people reading this have been just a little bit dissapopinted to spend an hour or two getting to a cache, only to find a damp log book, and a broken pencil inside go on, own up now

Please excuse me if this has been said already - i tried to read each post, but it gave me a headache. Being relatively new to this, i haven't had the pleasure of a FTF yet. But i would suspect the joy of finding a well stocked cache would be far greater than a FTF. So in that case, and as my Geocoin was taked by the FTF within a couple of hours (6:30am on a rainy, sunday morning ferchrissakes! ), my next cache will be relatively bare until the end of the first week, wherein i shall restock it with TB's, coins, and lots of goodies for the newbies/lazies/employed.

i recently bought a couple of Geocoins from a US "manufacturer" When they arrived, both coins came in a packet saying Made In China. Which brings me to ask - does anyone know of any Chinese manufacturers? Almost certainly resourcing them from China would be cheaper than the US I enquired about getting my own coins minted from three authorised coin manufacturers, but the cheapest quote of nearly £800 for 250 coins is a little OTT, in my opinion.* That is, unless anyone would be interested in buying a motorcycling based cachin coin *Edit - that does include activation, three colours on black nickel base metal, and personal icon thanks in advance RedGuzziV10

I want to do a pair of caches in the theme of good V's evil. one will be really easy to find with "good" things inside. The other will be more on the dark side, hard to find, evil things inside. i can get hold of an "angel" geocoin but i want a flip side coin to represent bad. Anyone got a coin like that which i can buy from them? i have looked on pretty much all the web site, and ebay for about a month now BTW, i am from England, so include a shipping cost if you have one. PS has anyone heard of an Oregon Geocoin, as well... just asking? many thanks
