  1. Hmm... ok, I found two of them that were the same name. Both being hiking sticks. Very cool stuff. I was thinking about attaching a book to a TB and letting people pass it. I think that I'll go smaller than a hiking stick, but still ask about marking the waypoint where transferred. Does anyone think that a compass would be well received? Also, the TB's are aluminum and would not effect a compass - would they?
  2. My Idea is to make a TB that is ONLY passed from player to player. Has this already been done? I figure that asking players to pass a TB from person to person would work pretty well, but I would also like to see mileage. My first thought would be to ask players to log it in and out of caches nearest the handoff, but that would cause problems with notes being added to caches owned by cachers that don't want them. So, how do I work this idea out to fruition? Obviously Event Caches make it simple, but the driving force behind the thought is to get players to meet each other in person, outside of the normal party event.
  3. When I try to build a PQ from a KML file it screws up royally. Durham, NC to Hillsville, VA gets me a route into Danville, VA then straight back down into Lillington, NC and I can;t get it to work right. I've tried shortening the rought into segments, but with the same results. Any ideas?
  4. Standing in the laundry room of a condo in North Myrtle Beach, waiting on the reply - THANK YOU! Cacher worked, so now I can send my VW key back home to me.
  5. I bought three TB tags from a company and noticed that all three had the same activation code on them. Now I'm here on vacation and not able to activate them. I had a mission in mind and everything... but alas - no go.
  6. I have a question not touched on here. Is there a way to get the whole description to display on the eX500? It has the option to look at a hint, but never has information there when selected. I'm using the MapSend Lite, and the .loc files from the cache pages.
