Just wanted to let anyone who is interested in the Palomar Divide Truck Trail on Sunday, May 22nd know that we will be meeting at White Matter (GCQ1AF) @ 7:00a.m. We need an early start because there are a ton of caches to be found! I'm sure the Sandy Creek Cowboys would love to have a few city slickers frequent their caches! We'll be heading out on Sunday the 13th. We'll probably meet at the Buckman Springs offramp around 9ish. I'll see if I can locate a ladder. Looks like we'll have a group of at least 5 vehicles. 4WD is not necessary, but we will be on a dirt road. They are incredibly fun caches with smiles and laughter at each one. Hope you all can join us! Robyn of Team Reid

Team Reid's nephew Connor was there for the landing. He's taking lesson and flies out of Gillespie field. Sort of like a flier with the most hours and a flier who has the least hours at the field. No cache news that I know of. Thanks, but this was really just a heads-up for our old buddy Harmon, since everyone knows he never looks to facebook. What a great time we had at Gillespie on Saturday! I'm soooo excited and still in shock!! My husband completely surprised me – he and Collin came home from "running errands" with a Jeep and said "happy birthday!" Oh my gosh…I can't believe it!! Then I thought, uh oh…how does he know what I'd like??? I've mentioned a few things, but then I found out he's been talking to some key people: the Splashes, one of his non-caching Jeeping friends, and Tom. Oh…THAT's why it's so much like the Blue October!! No complaints here!! I LOVE it!! Yay!!! I still can't believe it!! Looking forward to that first time out, Janie!! I hope it's more of a "green circle" than a "black diamond" trail to start with. Did I say that I still can't believe it??? All I can say is WoW.....you have a pretty nice husband and little son! Heading out to the Palomar Divide Truck Trail tomorrow with some newbiew. Please let me know if you'd like to join us! We'll be hitting the restaraunt in Santa Ysabel @ 9:00a.m. and will probably hit the trailhead at 10:15. Robyn of Team Reid I've driven the trail before. As far as I can remember, it is doable in a 2WD vehicle with some clearance. I'll be taking my Jeep anyway.

I have a cool camping book that Habu! and I checked out when we tried to get GeoWoodstock to come to San Diego. Would love to have you and your family!
