    Help Decoding

    Just don't get discouraged ! Sometimes it takes two or three runs at the same cache to finally get it. Do some others, and maybe this one will make more sense to you later on. We had a few DNF (did not finds) at first, and it was quite discouraging, going on we found out my husbands GPS was off by 90 ft. He went to the Megellan site and downloaded an update, and now his and mine are right on.

    I want to try the Canoe Cache sometime this summer. My problem is I have never done a lot of water travel on rivers. Most of my boating experience has been power boats on large lakes.

     

    Lets say I get could ahold of a canoe, kayak, or raft.

    Which is safest for a novice?

    How much instruction would be necessary for each?

     

    I know somebody out there has the experience to help me out with this one.

    You could always put pontoons on your camper .. :)

    As was said above, contact the approver listed on the bottom of the page.

    In the future if you have any questions on placing a cache, you can email the local admin, and wait for his/her input. :) Or if you are brave, ask some of the cachers in the forums for advise...

    Wow..all the vicious attacks on my character...where's Keystone when you need him??  ;)

    (must be editing people's posts with vulgar pig-latin phrases)

     

    I would tell you to go suck an egg, but in the case of a chicken like you, I guess that would be suggesting the very worst form of incest, which clearly violates our forum guidelines, and besides that, I cannot figure out how to say "egg" in pig latin, so we just won't go there.

    egg in pig lating would be ggayey

     

    Well, I really knew that, but I didn't want Stunod to think that I was just stuttering.

    Well, stunod being a fully grown..um chicken in a garter belt, not a newly laid ggayey, could hardly fault you if you did stutter on this one... :unsure:

     

    I will agree with you this far: when you say "Stunod," newly laid is about the last phrase that comes to mind.

    I believe I said...NOT being newly laid...implying he has been around the henhouse a time or two... :o

    :mad: all this high tech stuff !!!

     

    I still print out and carry the cache pages. There is something satisfying about being able to scribble all over the page.... B)

     

    But we do carry two Gps, two cell phones, a digital camera, walking sticks, a cooler, and tons of stuff we think we need to have along... B)
