    I don't like Burger King or Arby's, it not my personal perference.

     

    but I don't go around dogging people for building them or eating there.

    Hey, I like those places. But not for caching. Caching is my sort of way of an outdoor adventure. C'mon, what do you get out of finding one in the Wal*Mart parking lot? I mean, if it was regular, you could read the log signs and swap stuff, but micros? No use in my opinion. B)

    Yea, but what does that have to do with trolling? It's just a picture, it has a bridge which I guess means that trolls live under it. I'm sick of you people like saying lingo I don't understand behind my back B)

    But then its really not our fault you dont understand, is it? B)

    A troll is someone who comes into a forum to stir up emotions by making outrageous statements. Then when confronted and slammed claim innocence.

    I am not a troll, read the whole thing, other peopel stirred, I'm just a hot tempered person. B)

    Well cool down sonny...you will survive the forums alot longer if you do... B)

    I received the following e-mail last night. I am posting it here with the writers permission. It is posted almost in its entirety. I eliminated the last sentence and the signature to protect the writers identity.

     

    This e-mail made all my frustration worthwhile.

     

    I just registered with geocaching.com today as a result of the courttv.com debacle.  I'm sorry the geocaching site got pulled into this, but I'm glad I found ya all because of it.

     

    I wanted to say, it was a brave and really nice thing you did going to the CTV site to try to explain geocaching, but as a long time lurker and occasional poster there I gotta tell ya....you just as well beat your head against a tree.  It would be just as productive and much less painful.  Those people will grab onto anything and just run with it then post stuff like "Gee, I hope law enforcement checked into that" as if they have some inside knowledge that LE might have missed.  There ain't no eye roll big enough to tell you how I feel LOL

     

    Anyway, I'm so excited about geocaching.  I actually went out and bought a GPS today and even went on my first geocaching excursion, although when I got there I wasn't dressed right and didn't feel like wading into armpit high weeds with shorts on LOL  Live and learn. 

     

    I think this has so much potential to get my daughter and myself away from the computer and out into nature and really have fun!  We are planning a little trip next weekend...now it will definitely include geocaching!

    People in here thing we spend too much time on the computer, but at least we get out to cache!!!

     

    Over there (Ctv) they DO spend too much time on the computer speculating things that are just plain wrong, or trying to bend the things they *uncover* into a convenient mold for their thinking.

     

    It will play itself out, and hopefully with what you have done over there to explain will bring a few new cachers online.... ;)
