  1. Thanks for the reply Bill, email sent! -TWS (Doug)
  2. Is there a reason for not posting the solution here? I am in the same boat and would love to know the fix. I am having an issue with the GPSr powering off when I try and use the next stage feature on multi caches. I think my profiles might be corrupt. Thanks, TWS Yes, I'm sorry for not posting the final solution, but as the other poster said, it can be achieved by replacing the contents of the profile folder with 'virgin' profile files. Two people kindly sent me their files which I used successfully. The 'Recreational' Profile will of course have been modified slightly as that is the default one used at the first boot of the GPSr. The other issue I ran into was that one person sent me files from the US which meant that my unit then had map datum settings for the US continent. This was easily changed when I realised. Bill. If that is all it takes for the fix, I could really use a set of the US default profiles for the 62s. If anyone can help me out, that would be great. -TWS

  5. Can you just drag your folder into GSAK? I don't have Windows 7, but for XP, I just run my pocket query and then download it to my desktop. From there I just drag that into my open GSAK database and it adds them all.
  6. I will check. Have their been any updates recently? So what's. It cost to send to Garmin? I'm sure there is an assessment fee. If out of warranty check here
  7. Dang I was hoping that would be the ticket. I know others that had the issue and that fixed it for them. Is your software up to date?
  8. Do you have SD card installed? If so try pulling it and see if that does the trick. If it does you may need a new card or you could try to reformat your card.
  9. I am having the same issue. I use Cacheberry and the time zone is set for Central and is the same on the GC.com site. I first checked to see if it was a Cacheberry issue, but learned it was a GC.com issue. It is a pain to have to change the date back when you are flying through your logs. Hope to see the fix soon! -TWS
  10. Just the name changes and all your finds and trackables go over to the new name if approved.
