I've cached since 2007. I once obsessed about it, putting a lot of time into my own hides. Junk hides, power trails, lack of trades (I've got kids) and busyness of life turned it into an occasional hobby. Being forced to pay $45 (I'm not in USA) to continue at the level I'm at has made me very angry. What's the alternative? Back to paper caching? (Bleagh!). I'm likely to quit altogether.

How hard is it to add 'select date' functionality for the app? It is a real pain not being able to record the correct date. It has been a problem for years and posted about for years. Not doubt a lackey will arrive on this thread sooner or later (if past form continues) and ask your where you're from, your version, your settings, ask you to try logging at different times, ask you your mothers favourite ice cream flavour, suggest you change your log dates on gc.com(!) and then quietly disappear......NONE OF IT WORKS AND IT HAS BEEN MORE THAN THREE YEARS, FIX IT PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE!

It's be a novel feature for anyone who doesn't share the date of the servers to be able to log from the iPhone app and have it record the RIGHT day. And please: no suggestions of post a field note and change it on the website. That would be lame. The problem has persisted for YEARS now. I presume it persists for android users too?

I had my school group out at a roadside cache beside a farm. An old codger driving his car stopped in the middle of the road, asked what we were doing. I said geocaching but he heard "deer hunting" I tried to explain but gave up - he was holding up traffic to boot!

I'm thinking of creating a cartridge along the lines of the whack a lackey cartridge but the points of difference would be: MULTIPLE zones, the zones don't move, more distant zones have higher points. (goal being to gain a certain number of points by visiting the zones and performing a task). Anyway - I discovered that there is a device limit to the number fo active zones that work and trawling the forums gave me these limits: Oregon: 6-8 Colorado: 20 But there is a whole bunch of other devices out there. Could the blanks be filled in for iPhone etc?? Cheers!
