I hit 500 finds today, two weeks short of 1 year caching. My family doesn't get it so I had to share it on the groups.

Just ordered the five pack. Cool coins. Don't have any micro coin in my collection or roaming around. 5 pack will solve both requirements.

Do have a Compaq iPaq I'm going to put up on sell, it works great but has some small issues. Stylus will not stay down in the holder and the add on sleeve does want to recognize a compact flash when one is placed in there. It has a new internal high capacity battery and the CF sleeve has an external battery. Plenty of memory for caching. It would also need a switch board replaced ro get the hard rest function to work, can be bought for $12 online. Or do As I did the first and only time it needed a hard reset. Opened the back and unplugged the battery. I has been upgrade, and will burn the upgrade to a CD, to W2002 so Cachemate runs great on it.$40 shipped plus Paypal fees I no longer need these back ups. I have a Palm TX and Palm Treo 700w phone.

I have a Palm 505 (color Palm) with Hardcase that is great for Paperless caching. The only problem with it is it stopped holding the SD card in the slot. But has plenty of internal memory for caching. You can download the software needed to sync with PC from Palm. Download cachemate for $8 and leave the paper at home. With a USB car lighter adapter from local superstores you can use the sync cable to charge it in the car, or charge thru USB port on PC. $35 (or trade for Geocoins) shipped in lower 48.

I've uploaded a file, have build these type of queries before, and when I go create a pock query for along a route I get a Sorry problem with page (something like that). It will let me go thru selecting distance types cache adn so on. But when I click submit i get the error page. I tried it with soem of my older route queries and get the same thing on 4 different computers. Here's what I get with the geocaching emblem: Sorry! We encountered an error when requesting that page! Anyone have a work around or having the same problem?

but a pock query would allow me to load all the caches at once. THe KML I would need to load the cahce one at at tine to the GPS unit and not have a query fpr the PAlm.

I know how to lay out a route in Mapsource. I know there an explanation on this site for caching along a rout using Google earth. But I want to pick the route I'm taking, back roads, and see if there are caches along that route, How can I lay out my route with mapsource, or any other software and then use it to find aches along the route?

I don't see a setuo/Interface where I can select Garmin. I do see where I have a choice of serial or USB, and in the USB it say Etrex legend. I did update the drivers to the newest version and still doen't work. Guess I'll just need to buy the Delorme software for auto nav.
