    Atenção que os geocachers mencionados podem ter assinado com um "nick" representativo do grupo.

     

    Apesar de pessoalmente não concordar com este procedimento, principalmente porque não permite ao dono da cache identificar individualmente as assinaturas,  o mesmo é permitido pelo Geocaching HQ:

     

    "Hello!

    Thank you for contacting Geocaching HQ about this.

    Geocachers who go geocaching together in groups area allowed to log under one name, rather than writing all of the usernames of the players who visited a geocache.

    For example, players Bob, Nancy, and Sally could all log under the name "Team Geocaching" in the physical logbook, but would still be allowed to individually log the find on Geocaching.com.

    I hope this helps clear things up."

    Pergunto porque não encontro a opção de 1 ano de não renovação!

    Ok que parte é que eu não estou a entender do desactivar a conta?!?

     

    Se ao desactivar a conta acontece isso tudo, porque é que vou eu fazer isso só porque não quero que haja renovação automática no pagamento?

    Atenção que não foi essa a opção que referi!

     

    Para quem não é Premium Member (PM) em [PT] Definições de Conta/Adesão [EN] Account Settings/Membership aparece a opção [PT] Subscreva Geocaching Premium [EN] Upgrade to Geocaching Premium.

    A opção [PT] Editar Assinatura [EN] Edit Membership, só estará disponível para quem é PM, substituindo a [PT] Subscreva Geocaching Premium [EN] Upgrade to Geocaching Premium".

     

    Através da opção [PT] Editar Assinatura [EN] Edit Membership, é possível a qualquer momento cancelar a auto-renovação.

    I did a fast count on the votes (and some research from the profiles):

    • 15 yea votes altogether
    • -3 of them from the officers
    • -5 of them from waymarkers with 0/0 Posts and Visits
    • -2 of them from waymarkers with 1 or 2 posts and a few visits
    • ==> only 5 (more) active waymarkers votes with yea

    Only a wild guess: a few votes from some geocaching buddies? :ph34r:

    But that is not a fine manner! :angry:

     

    And this is another (old) topic ...

    From what I remember the only requirement to be able to vote is to be a premium member.

    Edit 2: Why should I pay for a Groundspeak Membership?

     

    I know several geocachers who, despite having created or visited waymarks (free time is scarce) know very well what is Waymarking.

    So they can not have the experience of creating and visiting waymarks, but they have plenty of knowledge about Waymarking.

     

    Edit 1: Of course as an officer I voted "Yea" in a project that I approve and support...

    Hi Jon,

     

    Could you please confirm specifically which Event guidelines were updated.

     

    I suggest that whenever changes are made in the guidelines could be placed a vertical bar at the side of the text that has been changed.

    Here is my basic summary:

    • Added language to emphasize that event caches are meant to facilitate social interaction among geocachers.
    • Added language to indicate that end times should be included on events and tightened up the explanation of events with "several elements."
    • Replaced the statement that cache hunts should be organized via forums or email with new language that helps define it better.
    • Added information regarding donations, fees, and sponsors that was previously only present in the Help Center.

    Did you also count the "deny" votes and research the profiles?

    Earthcache Guidelines History

    Most things were grandfathered with new editions.

    Photo requirements were not.

    It depends the photo requirement:

     

    "Requiring a photograph of the geocacher as proof that they were at the EarthCache site is not permitted.

    However, photographic tasks will be considered if they relate specifically to the Earth Science lesson."

    Daqui a uns dias se não se anteciparem abro um tópico no verdadeiro portal de referência, mas se ver o que se pode fazer para que este que possivelmente é onde chegam os estrangeiros ou ou newbies não pareça um portal zombie.

    Here's our Michigan coin. We tried to also have some symbolism. The poppy side honors Veteran's Day. The Red Poppy is in Flanders Field (green). White poppies symbolize peace and we put only one so it would stand out...The flip side is the multi event side.
