  1. Now that was the funniest thing I have seen in ages!!! He looked daggers at every single player and member of the coaching staff.... Oh hang on just remembered some of the refereing (?) decisions.... some of those where the funniest things I have ever seen....
  2. Number 17 is 3 out of 4 of theCookieCrew, and my what a handsome fellow I am.....
  3. Oh you can always tell, due in part to some telltale signs..... 1) Shifty looking families all acting like they have nothing whatsoever to do with the tupperware container at their feet.. 2) People with GPS's slung casually over their necks like Chinese tourists... 3) People staring intently at dog 'eared pieces of A4 with geocaching printed across the top.... And the best one.... 4) Well just why would anyone else be in this godforsaken area of swamp in the back end of Basingstoke unless they were hunting for a tupperware box...... (Catch Cromwells Jump Jump Cache.)
  4. Geo Cool, I was just about to ditch the program as it kept crashing my new IPAQ, glad to say the new code appears to be working a lot better..... Thanks for all you work....
  5. Well having just returned from a caching holiday in the New forest we have taken our total up to 116, now I guess its time to plant one... So keep your eyes open for the first CookieCrew cache in a woods near you soon...
  6. Krazy Kats, well how many did you end up finding before you placed your first one ? we saw this as a challenge 'cos we were at around 75 when you first posted, having just found our hundredth we are getting ready to place one, but maybe, just maybe we will hold out a little longer.... 7. Glad you like it, and more importantly that it turned up in one piece (always reassuring), my apologies again for the delay whilst the cheque cleared.... I blame ebay for my lack of trust...... Now all that is needed is to head out and find some caches.... I haven't made it up to your neck of the woods yet (So many caches so little time!!!) But I am sure someone here could recommend some nice easy caches in the Nottingham / derby area to get you started..... Good luck, but take your time remember to enjoy the scenery...
  8. Naughty I know but I have a garmin etrex yellow for sale here Garage Sale Forum. This keeps a good lock and is more than adequate for goecaching.....Feel free to email me if you are interested.
  9. Having recently upgraded to a legend, I have a Yellow Etrex available to offers near £60. It comes with manuals, Soft case, and Lanyard, email me if interested. ps. having read some of the messages in this forum I am only selling this to the UK, and the product will not be posted until payment has cleared.....

  11. I was refering more to the smartexplorer software that comes with the sleeve.... anyone had chance to have a play with one yet ?
  12. Like many I use an Ipaq and tomtom navigator to get me to the cache location before reverting to a Garmin Etrex Legend to guide us to the cache, having read the forums it would appear that there has not been a suitable product for using the IPAQ to do the final stretch, which has always been a bit of a bind as I can have the cache sheets with gpxview.... Well having had a search around it would appear that navman have bought out a suitable product !!! Navman 3300 Has anyone seen this or got any experience of it ?? Before I rush out and spend more money......
  13. Just enlarged a few of them on the site and noticed at the bottom there is a URL to say if the photo offends you !!!!! Have to say I've clicked it for a few of your ugly mugs..... no offence meant !!!
  14. quote:I sat here in a hotel room with nothing else to do, (sad isn't it!). So I did some calculations. I would say that the performance of the "2C's" was staggering to say the least. quote: Well having had a look at some of the caches they have completed, I can say that just the SP series of caches in Bracknell took thecookiecrew some 5 hours to complete, but I had the wife and two unders 7's to drag around.... I would imagine looking at the photo, these two could have flown around them.... Off the others they have done, that I have also done, I could see that they COULD get to them fairly quickly if they were experienced..... But hey whats the point, it is after all only a game..... and as they say they probably won't do that many in a day again...... Just my two pennies worth, don't mean nothing...
  15. quote: A bit like my attempt at "Obviously Built Early Like It Superceded Knights" - The Cookie Crew found it today to that's like a red rag to a bull and I'll be back to look for it. Oops sorry, we beat someone else by a day too!!
