  1. O wow, thanks arisoft! Could immediately see it working! Could never even pan the map by much then it all froze! Maybe we could nominate you to help them with the new GC app too! I doubt it's going to be ready in time!!!
  2. Having just been to Egypt I can confirm that tourism is virtually non-existent at the moment, Sharm-el-Sheikh is like a ghost-town, due to the plane that was shot down there last year. No European flights are currently flying into Sharm-el-Sheikh. I was very glad to rescue some TB's while there which had been there some months!
  3. Thanks Danie, that was brilliant. Would love to know about caches that have eventually been found, the longest it took to find them...
  4. Hi Danie, I am sure this has been done before, but do you know, per cache type, the cache that has taken the longest to find perhaps per area too? Maybe the longest is still not found ?
  5. erm... 4th in Part 3: Most caches placed in Africa during 2015: 5th in Part 3: Most caches placed in South Africa during 2015: 4th in Gauteng in Part 6: Most finds per province in 2015: 3rd in North West in Part 6: Most finds per province in 2015: My name is scubie999 and I am addicted...
  6. Thanks Danie! It seems to support my idea that South Africans only cache during the first 12 months of the year!
  7. Finds per day excludes DNF's, I was wondering more on a general activity throughout a year compared to other years and while on the topic maybe per province. It would be interesting to see if some area's activity picks up while others drop such as holiday seasons etc. It also seems as if Pretoria cachers at the moment are less active than JHB cachers, and other than the weather, was wondering if my perception is correct and if so why...
  8. Danie, what about a seasonal comparison of caching activity? Do we slow down over Winter at all? Or has this been done already?
  9. I own one and it is just in the form of an online log. Here is part of it:
  10. Danie - my motivation (correct or incorrect) is that someone paying membership is "a more serious cacher" than those not paying membership. Personally I would like to avoid the fly-by-nighter's on a more sentimental/sensitive cache. Just my opinion.
  11. Not sure if you're joking... but here goes... If you look at any of your premium member only caches, just below the line that says "This is a Premium Member Only cache." there is a link that says: "Read the audit log (see who viewed your cache)". This gives you a list of all the premium members that have viewed your cache and how many times, plus first and last visit date/time.
  12. Danie I don't say anything for fear of showing my ignorance, but absolutely enjoying all the stats! Keep them rolling! Thanks
