  1. Boy after hibernating this last winter my bride and I went to put out a cache this evening and when I hit the button to light the display the light came on but the display went away. I went into "main menu" then to "setup" Onwards to "display" but there's nuthin there about setting up the light contrast? Boy I hope it's an easy problem to solve, it's hard to cache at night when you can't see the display. Elmo's sad, boo hoo!
  2. Truly weird, both "Corp of Discovery" are both spelled the same and different owners??? Wow, my head hurts.
  3. Elmo loves being a geocacher... HeHeHe... " Get a life... Go Geocaching"
  4. This is what this person put in his note: Your cache has been moved to N 42° 52.725 W 112° 26.372, but it was found after mount borah gang. I had wait until they left the site to grab it. my first find and move. Once a cache is placed, it has entered into the publics emminent domain, as the internet is in the publics emminent domain. NOT ONE person has claim over the internet, neither does the cache placer have claim on the cache once it has entered the publics emminent domain. With neither title nor deed required, cache ownership CANNOT be proven and IS NOT recognized by law. Caches can be moved at will. Once cachers understand this, they will understand the frail nature of geocaching. Do not expect to much, as you WILL be disappointed.
  5. Here in S.E. Idaho we have a new situation developing with a scallywag that finds moving a cache to be a thing to do. This person has moved 2 caches so far and left the cords. for one and told the owner of the other to E-mail him to get the cords. for the other. My feeling on handling this situation is to ignore this type of behavior and eventually this person will go away. If you show anger toward this type behavior you stand a chance of continued mischief. Hopefully "Go Bengals Go!!!" (GCH64M) and "Assimilation VectorII" (GCGX3W) will be back and available for everyone to enjoy.
  6. Jeepers creepers, Well here in S.E. Idaho in the winter time there's a lot of yellow snow and trying to find a yellow Jeep is almost impossible. I guess we're lucky that its been archived...
  7. Glad to have you in the group of some really fun people. There is some really fun adventures ahead of you, like looking under rocks, or climbing trees, or that all time favorite, looking under a pasture pastry, my wife gave me that assignment. As its been said before, welcome, and have fun.
  8. Tis better to be a Tadpole than a toad stool, you know, sumthin that comes out of the south end of a north bound toad. Now you know I'm just kiddin with you.
