  1. yes, indeed. edited the settings, so now I can see them all again, thank you for the hint
  2. I removed inadvertedly a souvenir from my souvenirs page in my profile, by clicking on the red dot that pops up in the upper right hand corner of the souvenir. how can I correct that and have the souvenir back? this is about the leap-day event souvenir
  3. today am getting the message repeatedly, but intermittingly.
  4. the mail problem with kpn and planet seems to be solved. I am receiving new mails. thank you for the efforts
  5. any progress to report? I currently receive my geocaching e-mails through my gmail account. when can I go back to the kpn planet account? i notice that the mails forwarded from my gmail to my planet mail are bounced in about half of the cases. so still the kpn side is not healthy yet.
  6. LackeyLuke, I hope you will find a solution soon. I have the problem as described above with my @planet.nl account. I switched to using a gmail account. That seems to work (however, of course I do not know what mails are missing in that account). I set up forwarding from gmail to my @planet.nl account. only half of the mails are accepted. the other half is rejected by Planet. with following message Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently: team.barnold@planet.nl Technical details of permanent failure: Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the server for the recipient domain planet.nl by mailin.kpnmail.nl. [213.75.3.30]. The error that the other server returned was: 550 5.0.0 Mail rejected. .... Looking forward to a solution for the problems.
  7. couple of days ago I wrote: Miraculously, this situation now has improved. lognumbers like 1869. are rendered today as I intended them, just like 1869. A first step in adjusting Markdown to the geocacher's needs?
  8. even worse. i always started my found log with the found number followed by a ".". e.g. <<1869.>> now this is rendered as a line number and only partially like <<1.>> and all following text is indented. not what i asked for, not what i intended. completely readable text on every platform is now made unreadable because of markup. can at least nubers, say, above 10, just be rendered as they are, without interpretation and clipping as line/paragraph numbers? see this log.
  10. not so much problems in chrome or explorer, but tabs in profile do not work in firefox, what could be reason for that?
  11. +1 +2 +3 +4 definitely, mail has a complete working infro structure for searching, sorting, archiving this new messaging is just an additional feature for the phone-geocachers not for those who work on more elaborate caches using their desktop for preparation or maintenance of their mystery or earth caches.
  12. i did click on the map frame link in your posting of aug 6 2008. then again, but much larger, the white space with the buttons and penzance coming in right hand top. further zoom-in brings me to the scilly's
  13. seems to be for all uk caches. initial display is a white area with blue borders and the zoom buttons. after a click in the zoom-in button penzance shows up in the upper right hand corner of the map. firefox 3.6 vista home premium sp2
  14. does not work with me. display a map of the sea west of penzance, instead of the cache location
  15. I love to have the maps back again, thank you!!!!!!!!!!!
  16. i really liked the gc part of the site. please, bring it back soon.
  17. yep, works fine now, my dutch caches with yahoo-map and the uk caches showing the os-map. by the way, the download in the most recent posting ( ending in .js?1.0.4) did not work with me, but the earlier one (ending in simple .js) gave me the updated script.
  18. new script works fine on UK caches. but the detailed (second) map does not work as it should do outside the area covered by OS-mapping. it should show the yahoo map, please.
  19. hope the site will be back soon. loved the mapping and query facilities. bert from utrecht / netherlands
  20. i think for us in europe the google maps are a great improvement. the beta link provided now, does only part of the job. so, please, can the goole maps be back again?
