I just bought a Explorist 600 to replace my Meridian Gold. I can not get my waypoints from easygps to my unit. I think they are coming down in the wrong format but do not know how to convert them. I am very new with this unit. It is a lot diffrent from my old one. Thanks for any help

Here is one that I just came up with CHOWPA - Cache Hunters of Western PA. It has an indian sound to it.

I have been caching since March. When I first started it was all about the trade. Now with 40+ finds it is all about the thrill of the find. I will place what is now my trademark a Steeler Window sticker in caches and usually take nothing. If I do it is some sort of toy for my todler. Also I have placed 3 caches and try to put a variety of things in those caches. I spend on average around $15 to $20 on a Cache. But I think as the months grow on the quality of things in the cache grow less because that is what is traded. Dont get me wrong, there are some Geocachers who put neat things in caches. For me now, I just like to read the logs of the diffrent people who find the caches.

QM, I think it is a great idea. It would be neat to put faces to all the logs that I read. I know that alot of you all ready know one another. I wish I could attend but with work I do not think that I will be able to make anything in the fall. Please keep me posted though of upcoming events. Thanks, CCG

When you plan for vacation and require that are caches in the area

The gang uses a Magellan Merdian Gold w/ 128mb memory card that can store lots of maps

Magellan did not do this to catch hackers or anything like that. They plain and simply screwed up. They either had a typo or had someone place the cache that did not have a clue of what they were doing. I am so glad I had to work on Saturday because I would have been in that mess with everyone else. Hopefully Magellan will do the right thing. First apologize to the couple, pay all fines involved, finish this hunt, and as to make up for their mistake give Pittsburgh a new hunt or how about putting in some more Magellans as prizes in this hunt. Just a thought.
