  1. Are you sure the cartridge is active? There is only one Wherigo under the user name and it's not this one.
  2. What's the GC for the cartridge? What app is being used by the people with problems? There's more than one app on Android.
  3. Geooh GO for Android uses the API to recognize a cache has the HQ solution checker and shows a built-in dialog to enter solutions without having to use the website. It may be the only app to do this.
  4. Geooh's built-in Wherigo player can use v5 maps from Mapsforge.
  5. Or just use an API partner app on your phone so you don't have to mess with drafts and then GSAK... they can include time when logging.
  6. https://apidevelopers.geocaching.com/all-api-partners
  7. Geooh GO color codes the corrected coordinates puzzle icon to match the original icon type's color... orange for multi, blue for mystery, green for traditional, etc.
  8. Not in the official app, but other apps can.
  9. Geooh GO for Android can overlay any KML or GeoJSON file, plus tracks in GPX format.
  10. It's not fixable by Groundspeak... It's a Google problem that they are working to resolve.
  11. It works... are you sure WhereYouGo is not jumping in to do the download? If you told Android to always use that app for Wherigo.com links, then Geooh is not getting a chance to download. Attach a screenshot showing it's Geooh and not WhereYouGo getting the download error. Also, review the post below to fix your phone to allow Geooh to download instead of WhereYouGo...
  12. It's simple... download the cache to a list, look at the description, click the cartridge link the CO has in the description, and Geooh will ask if you want to download it. Much like any other app that downloaded before. And using Geooh support... either the forum or support@geooh.com is much more effective in getting help than asking questions here.
  13. See the new forum message on Geooh downloads to know how to remove the frustration with c:geo and whereyougo opening everything automatically. At one time you told Android to always use them.
  14. No, you are using WhereYouGo for the downloads without realizing it. See the new topic in this forum for a better explanation. If you think it's failing, attach a screenshot that shows it's coming from Geooh and not WhereYouGo... they each have different colors and Geooh uses more modern message dialogs.
  15. In case some of you have had trouble downloading cartridges with Geooh GO be sure it is actually Geooh doing the downloads. Android has a unique feature where apps can be permanently assigned to handle particular links when clicked. So instead of Geooh doing the download, you may be using WhereYouGo without realizing it. For example, the cartridge links in cache descriptions point to Wherigo.com downloads and Android checks which apps are registered for those Wherigo links. Normally, Android presents a list of the registered apps for you to choose. After selecting one, you then can click "Always" or "One time". If you select "Always", then Android will always use that app when accessing Wherigo.com links and not show you what other apps are available to handle the download. If you selected WhereYouGo sometime in the past, then Geooh doesn't get an opportunity to perform the download... WhereYouGo fails... then you think it was Geooh that got the download error. To fix this go into Android settings and under the Apps section locate WhereYouGo. When viewing WhereYouGo info there will be a section labeled such as "Open by Default". If you see Wherigo.com links for defaults, clear them out. Or completely uninstall WhereYouGo. After that the next time you click the cartridge link Android should ask if you want to use Geooh (or if the only registered app, open automatically). Geooh is currently the only app that can download Wherigo cartridges... if you let it! And if you have problems, please try emailing support@geooh.com.
  16. It's quite easy. From the cache description click on the cartridge download link provided by the owner. Geooh will ask to allow download... when downloaded the app will then ask if you want to open the app's built-inwherigo player Wherigo. From there press the load button to run any cartridges you've downloaded. You can also email support@geooh.com which is better than asking questions here.
  17. Or use Geooh.. that's a choice! I have not encountered a download error on any cartridge in a cache description. No one has shown a screenshot of it not working so not sure what they are trying to do if they think it doesn't work.
  18. Contacting support would be much more effective in getting help than asking strangers here.
  19. No, developers can configure location services differently for frequency and accuracy. Two different apps on the same phone pointing to the same cache can have different results. I'm an app developer.
  20. Geooh GO can sort souvenirs by date or type (all states together for example).
  21. Doubt it... no one is actively maintaining Wherigo players except for the Geooh app.
  22. Geooh GO for Android is currently the only geocaching app that can download cartridges from a cache description.
  23. Geooh GO is currently the only app anywhere that can download cartridges from a cache description. WhereYouGo can't and I doubt it will be fixed anytime soon. The c:geo group is trying to obtain the app from the original developer in an attempt to fix it.
