  1. I am quite new and have one recent hide because I felt the need to. It kind of " lame" But I decided its good for kids and its my first hide so so-what I am already working on another to hide in the future and its more creative
  2. Yep. if you put something in its place it should be fine.
  3. I am thinking they would not argue that point with you. Willing to pay $175 a year for your premium membership? good point. xD anyways, my cache is up and im ahppy
  4. MY cache has been published. Thanks everyone
  5. Just followed instructions
  6. I have always thought reviewers are volunteers, as in they get paid $0 to review caches. If I am wrong I stand corrected. they are volunteers. thats why im saying they should be paid!
  7. Nope the box had always been checked. When I open the page is says in red letters " This cache has not been reviewed yet. Once it is published, it will be listed on the site. Check the logs to see if the reviewers have left a note for this listing"
  8. yes Migaree, it was checked. Okay I was just wondering if I just wait or not. Hopefully it doesn't take too long. Dew it says if it isn't by 72 our to go to the help page. So it acts like if it isn't then theres a problem. Maybe they should hire their reviewers.
  9. I reported my new (and first)cache on the 5th. Apperantly the reviewer should review it in 72 hours. Its now the 9th and It still has not even been reviewed. Whats going on?
  10. I find it funny because There didn't care at the time but were crushed the next day... Isn't it the other way around??!! Obviously they didn't care but when they realized the media the was on them, they decided they better look hurt.

    My GPS

I am new to geo-caching and to GPS's. I am using a family-members GPS , so since i didn't buy it, I was just wondering if it was good, bad, etc. It is a Garmin rino 110. Thanks!
  17. OkaY I will try to locate my manual or download another. But say like with your Gps, what do you do to locate a cache?? Umm alright the arrow is moving now. OKay well. I marked a location, then went far away from it and went to go-to. instead of useung the compass I tried going my the distance, like walk a way and if the distance went down I kept going. But by the time I got to the poiunt I marked it said I was about eight meters away So I am guessing that is not a reliable way to do it.
  18. Welll... I lost the manual . OKay, that what I figured but when I move around the pointer stays the same. (sorry I am such a noob) And theres also a screen that says distance... so i am guessing that means distance from location?
  19. OKay, I have the co-ordinates of the cache in the gps, I have a map on paper and a pretty good Idea where the cache is. But How do you use a Gps to help you find the location?? I click goto and a screen comes up of what looks like a compas, and some other windows.
  20. Thanks. I have done everything you said besides a map. So I will get one. Hope I find it
  21. Okay. Got a cache I want to go find. I out the co-ordinates into my gps. Now what?? Its in a small town about 10 minutes from my home, so its not in the deep wilderness, probably off a road. So how dod I use my GPS to find it??
