This is just to say THANK YOU PILOTSNIPES for your priceless work. My girlfriend got a Nuvi 200 and we load the gpi to a SD card as per your method. It works great!! Here are some issues we can report out of memorie: We have the same "problems" other have reported: no coordinates/GPS image when we press & hold the green bars or whatever, but that's ok cause we just use the Nuvi on the car for the approach. Then we use other handheld GPSr. Also, some cache descriptions show some of those "funny" letters, but we can live with that. Sometimes we format the SD card. When loading the geocaches again into it, we get an error message saying there is no folder to put the file in to. So I just create a folder called Garmin on the SD card and do it again. Some other times, I mark to ignore some "custom POIs/geocache tourguide.gpx" file in Poiloader. This results in zero POIs loaded. I just do it again and correct this. we don't use the alert feature as it gets quite annoying sometimes. Greetings from Portugal.

Só para confundir: nos Nuvi também podes meter o texto todo das caches (caso sejas Premium Member e uses o GSAK). Para isso existe uma macro que podes usar no GSAK. Vê como em http://pilotsnipes.googlepages.com/index.html

Assim à bruta? Sem avisar? .... e os posts no outro fórum? vão ser puxados para aqui? e as contribuições que a malta deu nos diversos encontros e jantares de geocachers? foram gastas onde? Ou me escapou alguma coisa, ou tenho virus no PC ou algo me cheira mal... como é que se fecha sem avisar um fórum tão participado?! estou em choque e sinto-me desrespeitado. serei o único?

Guys this is incredible!!...This kind of attitudes, where a geocacher helps a completly strange person/geocacher, is one of the best things I found in geocaching. And the first person who showed me this same will to help was SuperFM. He spend hours talking to me via IM, explaining things about geocaching and then send me some stuff via snail mail. How many guys you know would do this?? He has also done A LOT for portuguese geocaching. I mean, if any geocacher deserves this sort of help from fellow geocachers, that's SuperFm (and Cruella ).
