  1. You can't. I hope that is clear. ********************************** Thank you Leprechauns ! .... Don't need to be rude ! .... We all learn our own way !
  2. ******************************************************************* Perhaps I do not clearly understand the explanations given above but what I am really referring to is knowing who came on my cache's page and selected "Watch Listing" in the available options. Such option permitting the geocacher to receive an email of any additional log or changes made to that cache. ... My question again is how to have access to the list of all geocachers who selected to "Watch Listing" of my cache ? ... Hope my question is better put this time. Thanks again for your cooperation.
  3. How can I see the list of geocachers who have put my cache on a watch? Thanks for your cooperation.
  4. Is it possible to view the list of geocachers who have benn putting your cache on the watch list ? Thanks for your cooperation
  5. ******************************************* I had a watch on that copper geocoin and today I received the following message from someone who discovered another generic geocoin far from the one I am talking about and I followed the link from the message that took me to the same page as the copper geocoin. ..... I am still puzzled !!!! Message received : ************** This is an automated message from Geocaching You are receiving this email because this listing is on your watch list. Visit the web site to change your watchlist settings. BrierPatch discovered Generic Geocoin (Generic Geocoin) at 7/11/2008 Log Date: 7/11/2008Thanks for sharing Visit Generic GeocoinGeneric Geocoin http://www.geocaching.com/track/details.as...5f-e66eb402a391 ******************************* If you could give me some explanation It would be much appreciated. Thanks Loba2007
  6. I am a bit puzzled .... recently a geocacher droped a generic geocoin in one of my caches and the coin tracking number was <tracking number removed by moderator> and it looks to be in solid copper. I then viewed it's page and the photo was exactly the same. A while after, another geocacher droped another Generic geocoin in my cache and this time it was a colored coin. The thing that puzzles me it has the same tracking number (tracking number removed by moderator) then the all copper one. Could someone confirm that all Generic Geocoin have the same tracking number ! If that the case then how could you track your own ? Thanks for your cooperation.
  7. Sure it is! Log into your account, on the right hand side click 'Find another player', type in the name and hey presto..! Thanks ... it's really appreciated !
  8. Is it possible to find a Geocacher info page ( in order to contact him via email ) by using his geocaching nickname (or name) ? A geocacher took a TB and left one in one of my caches but did not log any online. I would like to reach him to let him know of the geocaching process concerning TB's and Geocoins. All I have is the name he wrote in my cache logbook. Thanks for your cooperation. Loba2007
  9. This is all very nice and I also like the home made coins but ..... the question was also "Can we get geocoin numbers for tracking them on the net ?" And hopefully, the numbers are released free of charge .... Loba2007, Quebec, Canada
  10. After this hard winter, one of my cache location has been so badly dammaged that I need to move it a little from it's original location. What process do I have to follow to update the coordinates in the Geocaching web page. Thanks for your cooperation. Loba2007
  11. Wow! I'm impressed! My traditionals average one find a month! Of course they can be up to a mile hike... Hey, my syeteries have almost the same frequency. Hmm... ********** No wonder .... it's not a mystery !!!! *********
  12. I agree mostly since people who like the numbers will hate it when they find that one of their finds has become one of those pesky Traditional caches. ************************** "Pesky" ...... You are probably right but I found out that most geocachers around my area seem to be very reluctant with solving a problem before getting access to a cache !!! Mystery caches around here are visited at a rate of about once every 3 months as compared to every second or third day for regular caches. Loba2007 ================================== Am i living in a unique city or is the above statement fairly accurate all over ? If my area is unique then I don't see the reason for working hard at defining mystery caches ! Your comments will help me decide which option I should continue developing. Thanks !

  14. Is it possible to change an existing mystery cache to a regular ? If possible, do you simply replace the fake coordinates for the real coordinates ? Thanks for your cooperation.
  15. ?????? I am really surprised that nobody talked about ....... NANO caches !!!!!! They also exist and are being used occasionally ... not that often I concede but nevertheless ..... ----------------------------------------- All that to say to all of the above that ...... It could be worse !!!!!!!! ------------------------------------------ Be happy and go hunt what you like !!
  16. hello!, I just created a mystery cache and I would like to know how do I set up a system where one can go to verify if he has correctly found the right coordinates.. Thanks for your continued cooperation.
  17. Hello! Is it admissible to create a cache, within less than the standard 528 feet, from the fake coordinates of a mystery cache ? Thanks for your continued cooperation !
  18. *********************** Unfortunately it does not seems to ...... no email was generated to me anyway !! loba2007 ********************************
  19. No there isn't a way. You can only delete logs. I would email the person to remove that photo. If they don't you can delete theie log. But be nice and cut and paste their log into an email and send it to them so they don't have to retype the whole thing over again when they re-log it. ************************** As a matter of fact, I had included a note in my cache page to notify about such photos. But unfortunately after 24 hours from emailing the person without any action from is part, I did exactly what you suggested ... I deleted it ! (!!!!!! Is there a way to recuperate .... in order to be able to send him a copy, as you suggested !!!!!) I was feeling bad about it that is why I was investigating about a less drastic way of fixing such problems. ******************************
  20. Hello ! Is there a way to modify the content of a Log entry ? Often Geocachers include images with their Log entry (as a link to their own web site) that really give away the location of the cache. Thereafter, anyone could find that cache without even using a GPS, making that cache obsolete. What I would like to be able to do is to edit that particular Log entry and remove only the web link to the images. Thanks for your cooperation, Loba2007
  21. I guess my question was not that clear. What I want to do is to create a new cache but making sure that there is no mystery caches around or close to my new cache. In order to do so, I would need to know where the mystery caches are. Or does it not matter whether a mystery cache exist next to my new cache or not. I wonder if this is clearer as before but hope it is !!!!! Thanks again Loba2007
  22. When one decide on a location for a new cache, he looks if a cache already exist within 528' of the new cache site ... right ! But how can he knows if a mystery cache does not already exist next to his new cache location since mystery caches display false coordinates and don't appear on the map ? Thanks for your cooperation, Loba2007
  23. Is it possible to change my existing traditional cache for a multicache ? If positive, how can I do it ? Merci pour votre coopération toujours appréciée ! Loba2007
  24. After doing geocaching for about a month, I wonder if the size of the container used should not be mandatory when filling the original cache data form. The reason being that many geocachers prefer to go search for a cache containing trades, coins, etc and are not tempted to spend time looking for micro caches. It is not always obvious to figure out whether a cache is a pill bottle, a film container or of bigger size ( which can hold a certain amount of things). What do you think ? Was this brought up by anyone before ? Thanks for your cooperation, Loba2007
