This is a great idea for caching and much better than using talk abouts. Our family licenses/call signs lapsed a few years ago. I would be willing to test and get a new one for myself. Until then I will just have to listen to you all on my scanner. Good call Criminal! I too would need suggestions on gear since it has been awhile. I will do some research and study up.
