  1. I will have a Dutch to trade, and would really like to get a Midwest Geobash or a GBES summer.
  2. We should have a couple extra bronze PA coins to trade, also wouldn't mind trading something else to get a gold one - our list is here: http://cointracking.com/public/TeamDonutdog
  3. Just posted in another thread, so we should probably put it here too: Our trade list
  4. Are these still being shipped? I still haven't gotten mine and I'm starting to feel left out
  5. Dang, still not here! I'm getting antsy for these to arrive.
  6. I'm also interested in getting the SWAGS 2nd edition - will have a silver screw geocoin or a Netherlands coin to trade for it. Edit: also will have a Georgia LE peach.
  7. I haven't received an invoice yet - did you get the email I sent?
  8. For once it's good to have moved to the eastern time zone
  9. Whoops - messed up a simple ordering process by trying to go back an add a coin. I paid for 5 - the order for 4 should be deleted. Emailed too - thanks! edit: thanks, team simpson!
  10. It says must add geo-nick in shipping box... I didn't have any place to put that on there...
  11. Just paid for two - That's us in Worthington, Ohio. Thanks! Edit: Whee! Looks like we just made the cut
  12. I'm looking for a Tennessee. ... Edit: scratch that, might have it worked out.
  13. Anybody want to trade a Michigan (MIGO - *not* a seasonal) for a Tennessee?
  14. My webcam caches are now posting "webcam photo taken" logs correctly as finds. Thanks for the fix, admins.
  15. Someone who completed one of my webcam caches yesterday pointed out that there is no "Found" option, only "Webcam photo taken" - which does not show up as a Find. EDIT: Nevermind, I just noticed that this is already being discussed in another thread, and when I try to delete this one, I get the message "This forum does not allow you to delete logs." Another issue entirely
  16. We don't have a racer ourselves, but we moved several Cannonball racers in Ohio - it's fun watching their movements across the country (and sad to see the ones that go missing). I know the race had its ups and downs, but I enjoyed it I'm wondering if maybe the next one could be a "no intentional interference allowed" race (despite the spirit of the original cannonball run), as there is enough unintended interference due to racing mistakes and lost bugs, and because the intentional interferers seem to have been the source of the most anxiety in this race. Just a thought.
  17. Most people consider it fine to do that, just be sure to log your visit to the cache as a note, not another find.
  18. Well, this is all just a really unfortunate mess and all I want to contribute is the idea that maybe, in this case, some judgment should be exercised about the ".1 mile" rule, since the first stage of THI's new cache (the one to which the .1-mile rule is being applied) is a virtual. A virtual within .1 miles doesn't seem as big of a deal as another physical cache in that range. I really don't think it's unreasonable for someone to take two months to relocate and redesign a moderately tough, 5-stage multi. But during that time, you do run the risk that someone is going to "take" your spot. Unfortunate but true. I think an exception (because of the first stage being virtual) ought to be considered. If it can't be granted, then I think THI might consider adding in a "Stage 0.5" (that is over 0.1 miles from another cache) to begin the cache, that leads to Stage 1. That way the entire thing doesn't need to be redesigned in order to comply with the rules - it just becomes a 6-stage instead of a 5-stage But it's just an idea.
  19. quote:Originally posted by junglehair:I often wonder how many people think I am just looking for a place to go to the bathroom! Can't help but respond to this This weekend some poor mother was embarrassed to death as her child, upon seeing us poking about near a trail, exclaimed "Look! There's people crapping in the woods!"
  20. I think you will find a high degree of subjectivity in the answers to this question, as one person's "great location" may well be another's "meh, i could take it or leave it." That said, so far my favorite area cache locations have been at the Raccoon Creek #1 cache, the Great Playground Caper, and PQ Micro (all by Treasure Hunters Inc.); Boy'er Gettin' Close (4dingdongz); and Up Ferguson Way (Scook). The best cache I didn't get to finish (it had to be archived due to Licking County Parks irrational dislike of geocaches) was Finally! Proof Aliens Exist! - when THI finds a new home for that multi, I'll probably be calling in sick that day Edit - I knew I'd forget one - also Blend'n In Cache #1.
