  1. You're right, Snoogans, I'm not touching that. I think I'll just ignore it. TPBM is glad I ignored it and is happy to change the subject. Prophetically Challenged (or is that Pathetically?)
  2. TPAM has floated many things in that pool, but thought the ugly puppy was the cutest. OG Prophetically Challenged (or is that Pathetically?)
  3. Nothing is unfit for this thread! TPBM has set waypoints for all the Cinnabons in his state. Prophetically Challenged (or is that Pathetically?)
  4. I think there's a way to do that with Mapblast. You might give that a try. www.mapblast.com Prophetically Challenged (or is that Pathetically?)
  5. That's a really great thing for you to do! How did you know it was a TB in the first place if it didn't have a tag? Did it have instructions, but no tag? This has never happened to me. The very first TB that I found was not logged into the cache that I found it in. It had been missing in action for quite a few months. I logged it and sent it on it's way. Not long after that it was picked up, logged, and has gone missing again. Poor little fella. I've been watching the movements of the TBs that I've had my hands on, and it seems some of them have magical-like powers to survive and move on through tough scrapes, while others seem to be jinxed. Don't you agree? Anyway, WTG! That was a fine thing you did! Keep it up! OG Prophetically Challenged (or is that Pathetically?)
  6. TPAM routes for his favorite curling team. OG Prophetically Challenged (or is that Pathetically?)
  7. I will go caching today, and I'll post too. I'm pretty good at multi-tasking. TPBM has written a book entitled, "The Lost Art of Tupperware Closing." OG Prophetically Challenged (or is that Pathetically?)
  8. Alas, I'm finally busted! I HATE it when that happens! The person below me re-hides caches that they've found by covering them completely with McToys. OG Prophetically Challenged (or is that Pathetically?)
  9. WAY TO GO CRUIZIN!!! That is the most intelligent response to "Harry-bashing" I've heard yet! Those books are no more "un-Christian" than most other children books. My 14 yr. old sons' best friend is not allowed to read the books either due to his parents beliefs, although he is allowed to see the movie!! Now does that make sense?? Yeesh! I'm sure anyone who dares to pick up a copy of "The Sorcerer's Stone" would not stop until they had read the last page of "Pheonix" and would be clamoring for the next volume! Just like me and I'm 39!!! OG Prophetically Challenged (or is that Pathetically?)
  10. YEAH!! How'd you know? I'm trying to push through geo-legislation to allow putting tiny little virtual caches on obscure web-sites and all you have to do is snap a digital picture of you looking at the site to log it! The person below me is trying to figure out how to place a benchmark. OG Prophetically Challenged (or is that Pathetically?)
  11. We bought a garden statue, (the one in my avatar), and my daughter and I were trying to think of a name for him. We decided upon the name of my Great-Great uncle, Oglesby May. Og for short. I started using that name when I played online games even though I'm a woman. I thought it a pretty cool name. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it! OG Prophetically Challenged (or is that Pathetically?)
  12. TPAM still hasn't found the perfect avatar picture that best represents their name. OG Prophetically Challenged (or is that Pathetically?)
  13. Once again, I seccumb too peer pressure! The person below me brings their guitar to all cache finds and sings a rousing rendition of "Koom-bye-ya" before opening the container. OG Prophetically Challenged (or is that Pathetically?)
  14. TPAM is a very cool person that shouldn't have had to wait so long for someone to praise her! She is also very aware that the person below her may very well be typing out their oun "diatribe" on the merits of TPAM! OG Prophetically Challenged (or is that Pathetically?)
  15. No, I usually scroll through cad's "diatribes"! hehe I dare others to admit it! The person below me still has painful, oozing bumps from their last find. OG Prophetically Challenged (or is that Pathetically?)
  16. No I haven't. Are you psychic, Sax? The person below is glad I lifted this post to the top because they couldn't think of anything to add to the other threads. OG (or was I thinking of me?) Prophetically Challenged (or is that Pathetically?)
  17. Hello, My name is .....err...OG, and I was born with the cache gene. I'm not sure if it was my dear mother, or my blasted father who passed it on. My family denies it's existance. There is whispered talk at family gatherings suggesting cures. I hear mumbled references to various support groups, family intervention and ge-gnome therapy. I do NOT have a problem! I can handle it!! Please do not lable me! OG Prophetically Challenged (or is that Pathetically?)
  18. I guess I'm running about 30% DNF right now. I don't think of it as a failure though. I think that it's all about the hunt. I have to admit that I don't allways log my DNF's. If I gave a legit search, I log it. If, for some reason, I had problems..ie. a storm blew in, or was not prepared for the terrain...I don't log. I just go back later. I don't think anyone would appreciate feeble excuses logged on cache pages. OG Prophetically Challenged (or is that Pathetically?)
  19. If it were me that had those bugs, I'd just deposit them in your next couple of finds. That is if you get no responses from the forum in the next few days. I own only one bug and it sat in the cache I'd placed it in for over a month. Then it was picked up and held for another month. I have to admit I was more testy about the fact that someone actually had it at their house, and continued to find caches without moving my little guy along. Personally I'd rather see him moving. But then again my bug has no goal. I know you are trying to help these guys on toward their goals, and that is admirable! But I wouldn't keep them long. 20. There is a local caching family that allways lets us know if their cache is dog-friendly. Here is just one of many of them. I generally take a dog with me on my jaunts especially if I cannot coax a human to go. I steer away from taking them if I'm going to a formal type park, generally because of the reasons solohiker stated. I peronally don't mind an inquisitive dog, but I know others have the right not to have a strange animal giving them the sniff-over. My dogs are harmless, of course, but a stranger would not know that! There's my two cents worth. OG Prophetically Challenged (or is that Pathetically?)
  21. TPAM has a lot of dog hair on their couch. And NO god would stand for that! OG Prophetically Challenged (or is that Pathetically?)
  22. They told me at the store it was a moon-dial! Yeesh! The person below me has never found the need to waypoint his car. Prophetically Challenged (or is that Pathetically?)
  23. The person above me hates acronyms but really enjoyed the TV show "Get Smart." OG Prophetically Challenged (or is that Pathetically?)
  24. A fine word that "pedantic" I was puzzled by something on that cache page, Hydro. What does (10p/1 hour, 50p/2 hours) mean? OG Prophetically Challenged (or is that Pathetically?)
  25. Lately i've been using a handy little pole that I picked up at GI Joes. It only weighs 10 oz., so it's not a pain to carry, and comes in handy when there's a rock to flip or to move shrub-er-ubery to the side. It's shaft is aluminum and it has a rubber "foot" and a foam grip. The top is a wooden knob that I've been thinking of implanting a small compass in. And I got it for about 25 bucks!
