Wow! Thanks for that. I'm not sure I needed it but thanks anyway. I'll place the bug soon and hopefully I'll be able to track its progress. You tell me that the bug is "activated" and at the same time send me instructions on how to get it into my "inventory". I'm confused. I think most of the problem is that I'm new to geocaching and don't understand the jargon.
I have the "Submission Received" email in front of me. I tried again to follow the instructions in it. What "Lookup button"? What field? I tried the activation field and was asked for my activation code which I'd find on the packaging (which I'd thrown away). You got HOW many emails about it? I rest my case.
Please accept my gratitude for bothering to do this at all. I'm grateful for the backstage work done by volunteers. I really am. At 62 years of age I'm not at my peak ... however I'm not a COMPLETE idiot yet! I could not follow the instructions in the email ..... believe me! I tried my very best.
