I am new to the hobby and this is my first hide. I read the "how to" on trackable's but the answer to my question could not be found. I his a trackable and it was removed by someone. I know who because he sent me a email telling me so. He did not log that he removed the trackable so now I am getting all kind of log entires that the trackable is missing. The guy that removed it been doing this for years so I figured he knows the rules. Its been about a week sense its been removed. How long should I wait before I email him about it and ask him to log the removal and into his possession? I don't want to be to pushy...... Am I expecting to much to soon?

I am using a PC desktop. Thank you for asking.

Can anyone tell me how to upload the cache files from here on Groundspeak to my gpx which is a Garmin etrex30. I am downloading pocketquaries from GS as a GPS file but cant figure out how to get them over to my etrex30.

Well I have good news and some bad news. The good news is I found the cache. The bad news is I spent twenty minuets in the back seat of a VA Police car trying to explain to this federal police officer what Geocatching is. More good news .... I am home now logging both these two catches that I found but was warned to stay away from the fence line. The officer said he could issue me a citation but did not due to being a disabled veteran. Morro of the story is ..... Don't look for treasures on Federal property. The caches I found located on Federal property were: Vets Defence GC3G1EM Vets Deserve The Best GC10XWR Who ever owns these hides better move them when he or she gets the chance.

Is there a good app made for the IPad. (not the IPhone, I am looking for one for the IPad.)

Hello, am I doing something wrong? I am fairly new to Geocatching. I am a new Premium member. I just listed my very first catch although it has not yet been approved by the reviewer. I also have a travelbug that I want to have listed in my new catch. The travel bug saids it is in the hands of the owner (me). I cant figure out how to list it in my new catch (again, submitted but not yet approved by the reviewer. I don't see anyplace on the catch with a link that I can add the travelbug and I do not see any link on the travelbug page to move the bug to a catch. Am I doing something wrong?

I personally love long log reports. For me reading the logs are haft the fun. I have not met anyone personally that GeoCatches so reading other catches logs is a way for me to interact with other catches. Bring on the log logs, I read every one of them.
