  1. Shadows Friend and I had a great vacation! Thanks for playing along and all the guesses. We got to see lots and lots of animals, birds and fish. For this coin test we only counted major animals that were not in zoo or animals parts. We counted 17 which include two type penguins, fur seal, a couple type sea lions, and two types of kangaroos, wallabies, four type of possums, echidnas, flying foxes (fruit bats), Platypus, Musky Rat Kangaroo, and Bush Turkeys. More probable seen us but were laughing at us trying to see them. We also seen lots of birds it was nice to see a flock of Cockatoos fling around, we even heard a rare Victorias Riflebird. As far as reptile we see a few of them also, lizard and skinks. As far as fish, we see lots when we went scuba diving in Cairns. We had a tie between nevadanick (post 23), and RecipeForDisaster (post 30). We lost track of Kangaroo after 100, so we are going to give both nevadanick and RecipeForDisaster a coin. Thanks for all the guesses.
  2. Shadow’s Friend and I had a great vacation! Thanks for playing along and all the guesses. It was the wrong time of the year for Penguins, they were just starting to come back. It would be great to be in Fleas bay in prime time Penguins, they have over 1800 breeding pairs. We had a nest about 100 feet from our cabin that we stayed at. Due to the time of year we only seen about 45 penguins. 4 in nest 3 that came up on shore and 37 out in the water swimming around and feeding. The winner is Chasusson in post #9. Congratulation to Chasusson and thank for all other that took a guess.
  3. Shadow’s Friend and I had a great vacation! Thanks for playing along and all the guesses. We cached on 18 of the 21 days, and had a streak of 10 days. The three days we missed were: The day that disappeared because of the International Date Line, we never seen April 6. The second was at Fleas Bay, as Penguins do not cache. The third was when we travel from Cairns to Auckland. The winner is Kini ont in post #34. Congratulation to Kini ont and thank for all other that took a guess.
  4. A little hint: The 32 gig jump drive was not big enough to hold them all.
  5. A little hint: The 32 gig jump drive was not big enough to hold them all.
  6. Same rules as the others (I'm not that good of a phone typer) Guess the number of pictures/videos we have taken on this trip. Ends April 28th
  7. OK, They have not yet been in my mail box yet, but I will when I return home. Here are the coins I am taking back from OZ Mega.
  8. I can feel it, my mind has stopped the slipping into the madness. It started Saturday night, I started to fell weird, or is it normal. My slipping into the madness has stopped. I didn't know why until we got back to our room and unloaded my bag. What to my surprise, I find the toke that is the cure to the madness. It took a trip down under, but it was worth it. Thank you very nice for trying to save us!
  9. Well, We are down under in the land of kangaroos, but our first day we did not see a single one. Day to has been a little better, but we have seen more dead then alive. But it is cool to see your fist wild kangaroos!
  10. So far we had cache for 6 out of the 7 days with a streak of 5. We did not find a cache on Saturday due to the limited number of caches in Flea bays. We did get the two on the way to Flea bay on Friday. Will keep you update. Thank for playing
  11. OK, here is a hint. We have been without internet, phone ... because we have been to a penguin colony that has ~1800 breeding pairs.
  12. Well our second day of caching and we almost got a smile!!! Those were some good puzzles and very good hides (no micro!!). Two DNF, both look like there was some recent work at GZ. The CO is going to try and get them replaced. I hope we have a chance to pick them up. Up early tomorrow for another adventure.
  13. It has started. We got 1 cache on our first day down under.

  19. For the fifth cointest, you must suggest a "must do" in New Zealand or Austrian Australia. Winner will be able to choose one Geocoin from our personal coins. An example of an entry would be: You should bungee jump! Fine Print: We will not be letting Maya chose the winner. We will choose the winner at random of items that we find interesting. One entry per person per 24 hour. Last entry April 20, 2014 Edited to correct Australia - We have already been to Austrian, and it's too far from New Zealand for a day trip.
  20. For the fourth cointest, you must guess the total number of puzzle caches that we will find on this vacation. As tie breaker also guess the total number of caches that we will find. Winner will be able to choose one Geocoin from our personal coins. An example of an entry would be: 1 puzzles cache (I know you #?&^ at puzzles) and 5 caches. (We know you don’t cache) Fine Print: Coin will be ship when we return home. We will not be letting Maya chose the winner. One entry per person per 24 hour. Last guess on April 18, 2014
  21. For the third cointest, you must guess the total number of different number native species of animals that we see. (Seen in zoos do not count, unless they are not in a cage). As tie breakers also guess the total number of Kangaroos we count (again in a zoo does not count unless they are not in a cage). Winner will be able to choose one Geocoin from our personal coins. An example of an entry would be: 15 native animals and 100 kangaroos Fine Print: We will not be letting Maya chose the winner. One entry per person per 24 hour. Everybody knows bugs do not count, except for millipedes and they can count real high with all those toes. Last guess April 15, 2014
  22. For the second cointest, you must guess the total number of Penguins that we see on this vacation (Seen in zoos do not count, unless they are not in a cage). There will be two tie breaking questions: Guesses the total number penguins that we see getting eaten by polar bears. And guess the number of Geocoin I will be bringing home to my collection (that I did not bring with). Winner will be able to choose one Geocoin from our personal coins. An example of an entry would be: 5 Penguins, 0 penguins getting eaten, as everyone knows polar bears live in the northern hemisphere, and 80 geocoins (dont I wish). Fine Print: We will not be letting Maya chose the winner. One entry per person per 24 hour. Last guess April 14, 2014 Edited to add not
