  1. You just answered my question I was going to ask about how to store these for now. Thanks for the obvious answer I couldn't think of.
  2. Sometimes I overtype. In the US there is a link to [view map] under "Send to GPS" but in countries like Guatamala there is not.
  3. I recently did a search for caches in Guatemala and noticed there is no link to search with the google map. On a page for a cache in the US there is a link to the map to see caches in the area, yet a page for a cache in Guatemala does not have the link. This would make sense if the map did not work in that country, but it does. Here's a map for the area. I think the simple link should be on every cache page.
  4. That article does explain how, except a pocket query requires extra work. I like going from a cache page to the map to see what's around it. The icons at the top of the list on the right of the map are clickable but do nothing as far as I'm aware. It would be really helpful to have clicking on them alternate between showing all and showing only unfound.
  5. Amazing. I just got on the forums to bring up this same issue. It seems like it would be a copy/paste job with the code to add the sorting and distance showing since those are already in other searches. Hopefully it's in the version 2 of the site they're working on.
  6. I can't either, but they said they're working on it in a couple other posts.
  7. This is a good idea and it doesn't seem like it would be too hard to implement either. I'd think it would just be the same as now except the data stored would include the type of object being bookmarked and an index that the user could change the order of.
  8. 1) Could there be a couple different printer friendly pages to choose from? or 2) What about an option for premium members to use templates? For example: [name] hidden by [hider] on [hide date] last found: [last find date] printed: [current date] [type] / - difficulty: [difficulty]/5 terrain: [terrain]/5 [coordinates] [short description] [5 logs]

    # caches found

I like the opt out idea. As a new geocacher, I use the numbers as a way to rate how hard a cache really is. When the only people that have logged a find have over 300, I get a quick idea that I might have to spend a little more time searching even if it's a single star.
