Got over $400 this year! Must be charging way too much!! Two years ago, I got the Magellan 315 (I'm using a Garmin V too now), last year new ski boots, this year probably paddles for my Kayak.

I just got a Garmin V and find it really handy using the road routing feature to drive to the site, then switch it to the off-road feature for the walking/hiking portion. Battery life on the Garmin V is 20-25 hours; on the Street Pilot III, I've heard a minimum of 2 hours.
