  1. It might help if you went through the screen and were more specific on the forum post. Folks might be able to spot the problem (such as certain checkboxes). You can also try for example, if you choose USA and nothing else, there should be something. You can start narrowing your focus from there.
  2. I know there used to be downloads available in MobiBook format, as well as the PDF format. I can't say I recall seeing other download types. LOC files can be helpful, and tools such as GSAK could also be really helpful for manually keying/tracking caches. As the other poster suggested, a troll around the GC forum might help.
  3. Wow What a heart warming end to this story! I must admit I thought it was a gonna. Oh, and thanks to the comment about the GPS & truck disappearing, not at all good for you, but must admit it caused a giggle! Sorry it happened, but glad you still have a sense of humour. Great for the gent in St.John, nice to see there are people like that out there still.
  4. The other avenue to try is to see if there are caching groups in the area such as OGA or COG. Those folks may be willing to pick up caches from others. May be worth remembering for the future.
  5. (I'd check what Landsharkz said) Did you also try an email (If the above didn't work)?
  6. We frequently travel around 50-60km for a FTF, on my commute down the 400 corridor I'll redirect to a cache, but that doesn't count We'll try it if we get the notification and leave right away, but the Barrie bunch have a tendency to beat us there. that said, like Danoshimano mentioned above, sometimes people don't go for days!
  7. No problem, if you do come up with any more, my 10 year old son is collecting geocache pins and would just LOVE a turtle one. We'll keep our Fingers Crossed! Thanks. Fingers Crossed
  8. Can you let us know which puzzles you get answers to so we don't waste time Ah, just noticed that Northern Penguin has all the above solved, except the last one. So, we also have the solution for GC12N4E if nobody else has.
  9. Can you let us know which puzzles you get answers to so we don't waste time We have solved GC11TZ6 and if you don't have it, let me know and I'll PM it.
  10. We will be coming down on Friday evening from the Midland area. We will probably come down the 400 through Barrie to the 407, then East. We have 7 seats, and 2 of us are currently coming down. We will be staying at the Quality Suites hotel on Friday night. (I can get a rate of $107 including tax) We will check out before meeting up at breakfast.
  11. Does anybody know of any other horse coins? My young daughter would love a coin with a horse on it since she is horse mad, so I wondered what the options were by way of other coins. Expensive isn't preferred as she has to remember where she put it Thanks for any other info you might have.
  12. Hi there, This may seem like a silly question, but when you push the light / power button, I assume you pushed it again to cycle through the different brightenesses. It goes dark, bright, medium. Just thought I'd check. Personally I have no real issues with the light other than it going off a bit quick. Enjoy!
  13. I noticed this late last night as I headed out at midnight for a FTF after discovering a new cache fairly close. I know that the notification 'signup' does specify that it is 'experimental' and you shouldn't count on it (like who doesn't ) It wouldn't surprise me if it is tied in with all the other issues gc.com seems to be having the last few days.
  14. I as others have no issue with this either. That said, I'd probably have to do it at night! Seriously though, I think it would/should/could be perfectly valid with adequate warnings. My bigger concern would be people who go for the cache in this environment, without adhering to the rules of the area. Therefore causing some possible discomfort/concern for the residents!
