  1. I'm a recent premium member and getting the hang of pocket queries, which I download into my Palm Pilot. I tried to create a PQ for all locationless caches, but the PQ form demanded a location of origin, which I also assumed required location parmaeters ie, distance from home etc. etc. So, the question is... how do I create a PQ to return all locationless caches that I have not done, but ones that I could do, even though their location might be any place in the world and not just within a fix parameter from home?
  2. I just bought a Kodak 7330 and love it Took SD card out of my Palm Pilot that I wasn't using and stuck it into the camera and reformatted it... works great. Only use it for www-destined pics for GeoCaching and eMail so lots of room for lots of pics. Don't use Kodak's software as my eMac has lots of photo software that I am already using.
  3. I have written several databases and web sites and I understand how complex and finicky it can all be. I want to send compliments and kudos to all the people behind the scenes who make GeoCaching.com work. I am impressed and amazed with the features-set and the seamless way that it all works together. Many thanks and Well done! Keep up the great work.
  4. In Canada, those coordinates are east of Montreal, somewhere around Trois Riviere (Three Rivers). A typical postal Code for Montreal would include or look like this if you want to do a search for a cache and contact a cache-hider in that area. H2X2N6 Your looking for caches east of Montreal, in the Trois Riviere area. Hope this helps. I did this cache earlier this month and I used the cache-hiders for a particular area to make a contact. Do well and enjoy!
  5. Many thanks. I appreciate it. I was born into miles, but changed when the country did. Still use the jargon 'missed by a mile' but think distances in km's just as van works in km's. Well done!
  6. Here is the beginning of my list of basic rules for Geocaching. 1. You're always on the wrong side of the river or stream 2. You're always on the wrong side of the fence. 3. It will always take you longer to find than you expect. 4.
  7. I don't wish to get involved with the Olympic event side-bar discussion, but I would love to be able to set a miles/kilometer distance-unit preference and have my choice of miles or kilometers on the screen when I log in. Perhaps this can be done via the www cookie feature, or as a set-preference menu in the User Profile. Thanks.
