Man, am I ever glad I did St. Helens before Nolenator got her all upset.
Then again, if I hadn't done it, then Nolenator probably wouldn't have gotten her all upset...
Wow, that's a mind bender.
Take a pile of Fritos and smother them with chili, cheese, onions and jalepenos and there you have it Frito Pie. Peace, Nolenator
Sounds like "health food" to me.
I suspect that, too. The cache is on a pretty secure object. I was actually surprised how secure it was.
I just wonder what kind of "monitoring equipment" they lost and how they lost it. Maybe it was inside the crater...
Whoa. Looks like there is a new "Scary Ladder Cache."
Lighthouse Point is now "Kinda Scary Ladder Cache."
Not sure how I missed this thread before, but belated congrats on your new job.
Congrats! I always thought you were a great geocouple.
I hope you don't have to worry about her mother asking her father to kill you like the other Perrin did when he married Faille.
Post what you said in the "geocaching.com" section of the forums. Then Jeremy will look at and evaluate it.
I tend to agree with you. It would be nice to have that info.
Yeah. I really want to do this this year.
I was thinking about getting on my bike and doing caches on the Interurban next weekend to shake down the bike for spring.
Uh-huh.
That's like saying I'm a potential millionaire because I have tomorrows' lotto ticket in my pocket. Technically true but not really honest.
I wish GC.com would just declare "no new virts "
I think that would save a lot of hard feelings all around.
Edit: Quoted the wrong line!
I have to admit, I'm a little curious who is watching my personal travel bug that just logs my caching miles (Do I have a stalker?) but other than that the names of who people who are watching my caches don't matter. I can probably guess 90% of them anyway.
What would really be helpful to me is bookmarks of caches along bike trails, like the Interurban, Iron Horse, etc.
I reallt want to do some biking this spring.
Short answer is that I want to try out TC's point system that I liked so much when it was SGPS.
TC is different than the other sites as the caches there are not duped here.
I love GC.com and the bulk of my caching will be through here and I will continue to support the site financially. In my perfect world SGPS would just be applied to GC.com system wide... but that 's not my call.
Anyway, so as not to throw this thread off track, if you want anymore rationale feel free to PM me.
Might be bad form to mention this here, but since I'm a paying member and fan of both sites, I'll say it anyway... I stuck one in my new terracache today as a FTF prize.
If you don't mind the possibility of being slobbered on by a dog, want to get going early, and don't mind going at a questionable speed, I'm sure you can ride with me.
I'm staying at LaQuinta in Wenatchee. They were pretty reasonable - about $60 a night, have high speed internet, a pool, and most importantly for me, allow dogs.
