Da ich mein Garmin oder die besagte App, die nicht genannt werden darf, nutze, muss ich meine Fotos immer auf den PC spielen. Dazu habe ich zwei einfache Wege (Windows): 1. OneDrive (oder eine andere beliebige Cloud): Vom Handy lade ich die Fotos hoch, mit dem PC greife ich darauf zu. OneDrive hat den Vorteil, dass die Fotos direkt im Explorer (Dateisystem) von Windows angezeigt werden. 2. Link to Windows: Ich verbinden mein Handy über die Link to Windows app per WLAN mit meinem PC. Bei beiden können die Fotos einfach per Drag and Drop dem Log hinzugefügt werden.

Moin, ich würde das TB Zeichen mit dem Code ausdrucken und laminieren. Mit einem Locher kann man dann ein Loch für eine Kette/Schnur machen. Wichtig ist dabei, dass das Loch nicht auf dem Papier ist, sondern an einer Stelle, an der nur die Folie ist. Sonst ist das ganze nicht Wasserfest. Die teure Variante wäre sich einen Ersatztag in einem online Shop zu kaufen. Irgendwo habe ich mal ein Angebot gesehen, wo man bei dem Tag die Nummer mit angeben kann. Leider finde ich das gerade nicht wieder. TBs gehen leider oft verloren, oder werden geklaut. Das hat mir den Spaß daran verdorben :-(

Du kannst dort auch auf deutsch schreiben (englisch wird vermutlich schneller bearbeitet) Als Kategorie würde ich "16. Geocacher disagreement" wählen. In dem Text würde ich die entsprechenden Logs erwähnen.

Yes in german it is a common transformation, like the other I wrote too. I know a cacher who use that allways. I don't know how it is in sweden. Yes it not directly suppored, but possibly. In that case you have 2 cartridges on Wherigo.com an in you geocache description you have a link to both. current_zone.name should be just a variable with. The value shouldn't be a problem. But sometimes I'm surprised by what caused an error, so I'm sure it's worth a try. Let us know if that solve the problem.

It needs sometimes some time to update the counter for ALCs. It should be fixed in a few days.

It may could also caused by the fact, that linebreaks are converted to html during upload, but html is not allowed. So you have do remove the <br> from the description manually. It's generally a good idea to program in english with only "normal" letters. Sadly Wherigo doesn't support umlauts (or it's very difficult). So I don't use them in my texts (Like ä => ae, ö => oe, ü => ue, ß => ss). I recommend you to handle it always like that on Wherigos, also if that doesn't cause the error. Yes, we all waiting for it😅

iframes funktionieren in Listings nicht. Du könntest einen Link zu der Tabelle einfügen. Da kannst du dir, wie jennergruhle bereits schrieb, das HTML vom Server generieren lassen, oder einfach auf dein Bild verlinken. Ich habe auch mal eine Teilnehmer Liste geführt. Klar ist es in HTML etwas unübersichtlich, aber ich finde nicht, dass es sooo schlimm ist. Davon mal abgesehen gibt es glaube ich kaum eine Person, die diese Beschränkung gut findet. Nur leider dürfen wir ja nicht mitreden...

I have the same error every time I updated my notification. My mail is verified and I got the notifications and the changes are also saved. But I still land on the error 500 page. I reported this issues already 2 years ago... It is really annoying to set up notifications for vacation, because of the extra clicks

Das gilt für leider alle Caches. Die Karten werden leider. Die App und Webseite sind aus irgendwelchen Gründen nicht immer aktuell. Das kann zwischen ein paar Minuten und ein paar Stunden dauern bis der Cache auf den Karten zu sehen ist. Wie baer2006 schon sagte können sich PM Benachrichtigung für neue Caches erstellen.

Wenn einem die Funde wichtig sind und der Owner die Logs tatsächlich löscht, kann man sich über das Help Center auch direkt an Groundspeak wenden. Die sind in der Lage Logs wiederherzustellen und als nicht löschbar zu markieren.

Also ich logge auch oft erst später. Aktuell liege ich 40 Caches bzw. anderthalb Monate zurück. Das liegt daran, dass ich meine Freizeit lieber zum Cachen als zum Loggen nutzen will. Natürlich gehört das Loggen zum Cachen dazu, aber ich kenne einige, die erst viel später loggen. Auch bei meinen Caches kommen teilweise sehr verspätete Logs. Da stelle ich mich nicht an, sondern akzeptiere, dass es Leute gibt, die aus irgendwelchen Gründen länger brauchen. Generell lösche ich keine Logs, es sei den denn, dass ein eindeutiger Fehler oder Fehlverhalten vorliegt (den/das ich belegen kann).

It would be not the first time, that an owner don't know that some stage has changed. Good point. With caches, I mean real caches and ALCs, I clarified it in my post.

It is very simpel. If you don't want to receive logs, don't place caches or ALcs ;-)

That is a nice feature. I would love to test the app, but sadly I have to buy it before... With the annoying thing, that you allways have to change the app, you don't see hidden zones (I hope!) and your GPS Spoofing will not display the zones, so you may have to try it multiple times to get in.

Im not really know how to run Android Apps from Windows. I tried it some years ago without success with bluestacks. GPS spoofing is a good possibility, but for me it was always annoying to change the app always when I want to move. Maybe it is possible run and display the player and the spoofing app at the same time when you have it on Windows. The free and OpenSource App WhereYouGo will also save your state and write it into files, which you can found in the directory where you put the .gwc (On newer android versions that could be a bit difficult to view the directory) A player is a player to play the WIG, with an emulator you can emulate the players behavior, like GPS position. You have also a console output which can be very helpful for bugfixing. So the player is for players, the emulator for development.

You wasn't unclear, SpiritGuide just likes to advertise his app. To your question: I sadly doesn't found an option like that :-(

Beim upload auf geocaching.com werden alle Metadaten gelöscht, man kann also nicht sehen, wann das Foto erstellt wurde. Aber wenn der Owner behauptet, dass bei dem Bild die Belichtung nicht passt, muss er sich ja wirklich gut mit dem Thema Fotografie/Belichtung auskennen.

Hm, sowas ist immer schwer. Letztendlich kann man auf dem Bild nicht viel erkennen, es steht also Aussage gegen Aussage. Wobei, wenn du das Bild gefälscht hättest, hättest du dir doch sicher die Mühe gemacht, einen scharfen Hintergrund einzufügen 😅 In solchen Fällen gibt es glaube ich nur 2 Möglichkeiten: 1. Einer, Finder oder Owner, gibt nach 2. Du wendest dich über die Help Seite an Groundspeak Ich kenne das Problem, dass mein Handy nur meinen Stempel, oder das Motiv fokussieren kann. In diesem Fall nutze ich immer die Weitwinkelfunktion, da mit der alles scharf zu erkennen ist. Wenn dein Handy das auch kann, würde ich dir das für die Zukunft empfehlen ;-)

Why should that be needed? It is important as an owner to be interested in what other cachers think about your cache. Otherwise, you will repeat mistakes if you did one, or you don't know, that your cache is awesome ;-). Or you didn't notice if there are some essential changes at your locations. Of course, most of the logs about ALC aren't very interesting, since most ALCs aren't interesting either ;-) I use filters to sort the mails. All folders with logs are not give me push notifications on my mobile mail app, but I read them, when I have the time for it.

Today I received the fist E-Mails. There a two little Bugs in it: I'm sure it shouldn't say "AdventureTitle", but my ALC's real name. The other one is, that my name is not insert or there is just a space too much behind the "Hello" ;-) I really like that it also shows, if photos were added. Would be nice to have it for real caches too.

Es gibt woodcoins, die nach diesem Prinzip funktionieren. Diese bleiben online im Besitz des Owners und er legt diese dann in manche Caches ab, oder tauscht sie auf Events. Wenn du die TBs aber im ursprünglichen Sinne auf Reisen schicken möchtest, dann kannst du nur einen mit selber Nummer losschicken, denn sonst funktioniert der tracken mittels Logs (aufgenommen, abgelegt) natürlich nicht.
