Received my purple tiki on Friday. Was a bit worried as my box was squished a bit, but it was safe and sound. Hubby was like..."you paid how much!?" He doesn't get the whole coin thing....

Love that is has a hole ... wearable coins are fun and everyone always asks what they are ... I have one of the (dorkfish?) gray whale coins I wear as a necklace.

Dangnabbit! Already have plans with the hubby and mother in law that weekend or I'd check out this event since since you Idaho folks have been kind enough to attend my Sunriver events (which is not happening this year due to a budget snafu and losing my funding! Crossing my fingers for next year though). Is the luau generally this particular weekend? I'd like to put it on my calendar for 2011.

Eat Mor Ckn was the second coin done by Tank Hounds. It's no one's cache name, she just thought that would be funny! I sent a mass email to all participants with name/email contact so you all could get in touch with each other and do more trading.

Received a special package June 25. Wow, I thought....I hadn't ordered anything lately. Could it be .... MY VERY FIRST EVER RANDOM COIN and a mystery one at that?!! And it arrived in time to celebrate my birthday on the 24th and first wedding anniversary on the 27th! I was so excited to tear open the package and find the lovely peace/dove coin. I will cherish it always Thank you, thank you to the mystery sender (LOVE the mailing label from Ima Gine Peace....)

Excellent !! Is "the mint gal" Sharon / Mama Cache ? Sharon it is (I didn't know her cache name!) She - and me too - will be at the Friday luau event to hand them out (she decided Thursday was too iffy time wise). It will be nice to see everyone and put faces with names! Guess she's gonna be near the Oak Coin boys. She hadn't set up a specific time but said you die-hard coiners will have no trouble finding her!

The mini moos are done! Trying to coordinate with the gal now for distribution at GW. The mint gal is attending GW and if all goes to plan she will distribute some to those who can pickup as early as Thursday evening (location not yet decided) and for sure on Friday at the luau. That way they will be available for your trading pleasure throughout the weekend! See you all soon!

Coins left in caches are for moving along as a traveling coin unless otherwise noted. Most "coin collectors" get their coins through outright purchases from coin minters, ebay, cachers themselves, from this forum, through trades with other collectors, etc. Do an internet search and you'll be amazed! Collecting is very addicting and can get spendy!
