How do I return PQs to Groundspeak when done with them?

This was a sarcastic comment, if that was unclear to anyone. -

I'm wondering.. how exactly do you return either an unused or a used Pocket Query? -
Any cache type or event will earn you the souvenir, as usual.

Thank you for allowing us to keep this feature. As I said above, I use this a lot -

But there is no way to see the hidden additional waypoints in any of the geocaching apps. I use this feature for my own caches on the apps I use to see where the cache actually is so I can check on it, or if I want to place a new cache nearby. -
As said before if you don't want people to virtually discover your coins, don't post pictures with the trackable number. You can remove the photo now but who knows how many copies of it are out floating around.

I've only gotten one random request so far since this league thing started. You must be a nicer guy than me. I'm not a guy. But maybe I'm nicer? Or they're seeing my name active in the forums? Or just picking random letters and requesting people? I have no idea how these people found me. They were all from Europe and I'm in the US Podcast, maybe? You're famous Hey Sherminator, wanna be my friend? Maybe? But I don't think it's from the podcast. It's no ones names that I recognize

And update to display caches at corrected coordinates has already been released. For the web site, perhaps, although the Search map always did use corrected coordinates (and now doesn't when the cache has been found: definitely a backward step). The version of the app I just downloaded still displays mystery caches at their posted coordinates. I have iOS and the current version of the app on my phone shows unfound, solved mystery caches at their corrected coordinates. If you have found the cache, the icon goes back to its posted coordinates.

Our hopes are that users will send friend requests to other users they actually know or want to meet up and go geocaching with. However, if you do not want friend requests, there is an option to turn them off entirely by going to your account settings -> preferences and checking the box that says "Block friend requests from other geocachers". We also limit the amount of friends a single user can request in a given amount of time in order to reduce spamming. I know that I can turn off friend requests, but I don't want to. I still want people that I ACTUALLY know to be able to request to be my friend.

Building a huge Friend League of random people doesn't really do anything useful anyway. To get the Souvenir, each person needs to contribute at least 5 points. If everyone contributes only 5 points, then you need only half a dozen active members of your Friend League to earn the first week's Souvenir. Yeah I know that. But I'm still getting friend requests from random people that I don't know.

Looks like we just broke 3 million caches worldwide!
Sherminator18 replied to KBLAST's topic in General geocaching topics
HQ decided not to identify a specific cache for this. I believe for a couple reasons. 1) It's hard to tell which was actually the 3 millionth. The numbers that day were constantly fluctuating around 3 million. I was checking the number for many hours and it would go above 3 million by a few and then drop back below 3 million. So which is really the 3 millionth? Who knows.. 2) While it is a great celebration to be the CO of such a cache, I'm sure the CO of previous milestone caches have gotten inundated with emails and messages, almost constantly. Perhaps they wanted to keep that from happening so whoever the CO was wasn't getting flooded with thousands of emails. -
I just looked at the OPs profile. And they don't have any caches hidden, so it's a bit unclear what the OP is actually trying to do.

Best of luck to you

I believe there is a setting where you will only receive an email about getting a message in the Message Center if you haven't been active in the past 30 minutes. That means if you get a response from someone within 30 minutes of you responding to their message, then you won't receive an email. If you go to your settings and under Email Preferences you can change it to send you an email every time you receive a message in the Message Center. You can also reply to the email instead of logging in to the Message Center.
