  1. Thanks for the info. You are correct in it not having every twist and turn in a road. If I zoom out I can use it to get from Seattle to Miami.. no prob, Though being off buy up to and OVER 200m is considered accurate when slightly zoomed in while on a major interstate or state route or at major intersections for the base map ?
  2. eTrex legend (blue) road map. 1. I use the "road lock" feature and my current location cursor does not track on the road using the standard base map that came installed. 2. Is it just my GPSr or do others from Garmin have very inaccurate onboard/pre-installed maps ?? Mine is off by 50-200+yrds 98.652% of the time when zoomed in under 1.2mile scale setting, even when Im getting 3-5 meter accuracy readings. Is there something I can do to correct this? Can I "adjust" the map to the real road location?? Thanks in advance. Mr_Dude
  3. Yes, I purchased my Garmin etrex Legend from them, good price and shipping was very fast, in fact, i was surprised when it showed up two days earlier than I was expecting with standard shipping. I'd buy from them again. Mr_Dude
  4. Hello all, I have a Garmin etrex legend that seems to work OK, was thinking about a back-up or loaner/hand-out unit, Is the Lowrance iFinder GO (yellow) worth purchasing for a beginner or back-up GPS unit? Does anyone have any hands on experince with this particular model? Is 16 channels better than 12 channels?? http://www.lowrance.com/Products/Outdoors/iFINDERGO.asp TIA Mr_Dude PS> I may be new to geocache.com/Groundspeak as a registered member, though I've been lurking for awhile and been online for 12+ years
