So after searching for info on the app for way too long, I finally came across the answer. I finally discovered that settings menu items scroll left and right. It was there I found how to enable the location services. Problem solved!

Nope, didn't work. I made sure I had location services turned on for the phone itself. Started the app and set it outside, came back after 20 minutes and still hadn't found me. On the main screen it has location shown as "disabled". Which leads me to think there should be a way in the app itself to enable location. I just can't find it, or anything showing how and where to find it. The app will do a search from "my last known location" which was usually 2-3 days ago. When I look at the map, I can see the blue dot where I actually am, but it still shows the caches from the "last known location". I figured, well, the blue dot is correct, so maybe it knows where I am now. So I go back to the search nearest option, and it still says location unknown, search last known location. Which is still from a couple days ago. See how frustrating this is? Other apps including Munzee, Four Square, and Facebook have no problem finding my location.

The app says my location is disabled. I can't find where to enable it. When searching for caches, it will show caches in a place I've been recently, sometimes days ago. To get those aronud me I have to move the map around and zoom in on my location and select search here.

Currently running Beta Software 3.52 GPS Software Version 2.90

I last checked for updates yesterday. And then out in the middle of a field, with no trees, I compared the accuracy to my old 60Csx. It was off by 60+/- feet. I've been out with other cachers and stop to look and they say they have another 50-60 feet to go. This is compared to Delorme PN-40, Oregons, and various other units. I checked the Datum and it is set to WSG84. Looks like it might be just my unit, guess it's time to change. Thanks for the input!

Anybody else having trouble with the Colorado 300 being off 50-75 feet? This happens so often, that if I'm unable to locate a cache in a considerable amount of time, I'll move out to 50+ feet radius. Are there any settings I could change to help correct this. I've done the updates and calibrations and it's still giving me problems.

I have some ideas (wishes) for future updates to the website. 1) Notifications - would it be possibly to include the cache owner in the information in email notifications. 2) Pocket Queries - I would like to be able to do a pocket query of caches by a specific cache owner. Any thoughts or other suggestions?

Be patient folks....I finally let it go after about 4-5 clicks. Now an hour or so later it just came in. The system is apparently running a little slow...and clicking on it numerous times won't speed it up.

I have been searching for the bronze level icon to add to my profile. I completed this level a few months ago and have already received a pin for it. Thank you very much for that - I would have considered paying for it also. Where can I find the icon now, to add to my profile?

I've been hunting for a few months now, and have place a couple of my own. I've got many containers and locations ready for a cache, I just don't have log books for most of them. Where do you all suggest I go to find geocaching logbooks like I've signed in so many other caches that I've found? I've been unsuccessful at locating any for the smaller to larger containers that I have. I know there has got to be a website out there somewhere, I just can't seem to find it.

I've been looking up some benchmarks in the area, I've noticed that those that has finds/logs, only have one fairly recent. Is that typical? Is it acceptable for me to locate the same ones and log them as finds. How long should I wait since the last find - 1 year, 3, maybe 5?

I am relatively new to this addiction. My first experience was with my family a month or so ago. Since then I have aquired a GPS unit, registered and have done a little hunting while on vacation. My question is this. Is it ok to log a "find" for the caches that I accompanied my family on before I officially signed up? Or should I go ahead and return to the scene?

I've been looking for anything to tell me what datum I should set my GPS etrex Legend CX. I will be using it mostly for geocaching. What does the geocaching.com website use for a datum? The last couple caches I went after, my unit kept leading me in circles in the middle of an open field. Is there something else I might want to change settings on that would also help?
