  1. Thank you. Rather than assume the cacher is trying to log a bogus find, I'll just contact him/her.
  2. We have a series of water caches. There's a chain of them, and you can get in a kayak and paddle from cache to cache, logging several in one trip. Lots of fun on a warm summer day. (Not so fun in late November) They are not accessible by land. So today I got a log saying "Having breakfast across the street and decided to go for this one. It's just where it should be and in good condition." Obviously this person did not find this cache. I don't want to go out in the cold weather to paddle to confirm that the logbook is signed. What would you do?
  3. I'm in the U.S. I have two international trips coming up: Bonaire and England. In the past I've always downloaded to my Garmin and printed out the info, which works if I know ahead of time what area I want to search in, more or less. I love the flexibility of caching with my iPhone and looking for a nearby cache wherever I might be, and Verizon has a plan for $25 for 100MB of data as a "global feature" option. How much is 100MB? If I spend a full day running around looking at maps and caches, about how much data would I use? Can somebody give me an estimate?
  4. We don't have a very fancy GPS or really smart phones, so we've always printed the map and been very paper-based. Now there is so much more work getting the maps ready to plot our caching route. I miss the old maps!!!!!
