Just wondering what people's opinions are of what an appropiate ratio of found geocaches to geocaches you hide.

Many times these poor placements are by cachers who have an imbalance between the number of hides (too many) to finds (not enough). Early on in caching there was an unwritten rule that you had to get a few hides under your belt so that you could learn what makes a proper placement. Experienced cachers should also be more honest in our logs about caches that could be problematic. GC.com should seriously consider instituting a rating system to let hiders know their cache may suck. just had a question to see how everyone feels about this... What do u think is an appropiate ratio from found:hides?

For some reason, i can make PQ's in loc. When i select GPX, it still creates it and says it ws sent, but i never recieve anything, only loc. and idea y? my email's hotmail, would that do anything?

Could you just see it in google earth and then save the image, then upload it to teh cache page. you'd have to update it constantly and it's not what you were thinking but it would work

If i grab a TB, and i want to take it to a few of my fav. caches to increase its distance and maybe add some cool pics, should i? should i log that i dropped off and picked it up from every cache i visit becasue it did visit those caches so it should get the distance. or what do you think?

I'm trying to log a cache i placed and maek ita puzzle cache. I'm using certain pictures that are needed for the cache. i've uploaded them to the gallery but i'm trying to place them in the actual cache description. i've tried the img src code but thats not working. what can i do? thanks! FinsInc
